national average for an ambulance to get to a res. (in city limits) is about 8 minutes...I dont know about outlaying areas

here in nyc,911 calls are private and hush/hush for EMS and FDNY,In order to listen to one you need to have a court order for the 'tapes"of the 911 call.

There were a group of teens in front of us horsing around and being obnoxious. This was a fairly quiet and dark area and we were the only 2 groups of people around. They were walking and jumping on each others back, giving piggy backs etc... when one girl knocked a guy down and she went flying pretty much over him, flat on her face onto the ground. Within seconds a "suit" was there. Someone must have been watching them.![]()

DD, then 15, sat with her on the floor while DH & I sat on a bench directly behind them. The place was not even close to full but the CM kept forcing people to move up. Older DD said the guy behind her was practically sitting on top of her and of course kids get up dance and move around. At the end DH is helping me up, I have bad knees, and DD-8 comes over crying that something is wrong with Emily. OK...the place was not even 1/2 full and most of them were gone...we bolted up front to find her surrounded by several CM's. She had gotten up and fallen back down, foot asleep, and ended up a bad fracture in her wrist. They ushered us backstage where more CM's, security, and managers showed up---here is the kicker. One of the managers asked me if I wanted him to go find my 3 boys. Now I am in lala land, my daughters are crying and I am trying not to panic it was like watching a movie...all of a sudden it kicks in what he just said to me. He knew we had 3 other kids and they were all boys no less that were not with us! I laughed at him commenting that Disney really does have eyes all over. He looks very stern but smiles. I said to my husband later, how many other fat woman wearing white knee pain patches walking around with 5 kids were there that day...oh yeah that and the fact that DS,10, had decorated said pain patches with his version of mickey mouse in blue ink!![]()
Oh yeah and for all of those that may be wondering we did not sue, did not complain except about almost losing my Fantasmic Package because DH was 10 minutes late coming back from ER with DD, and I did not ask for a comp or otherwise.![]()

They have 4 stations and are building a 5th one right now. The 2 that you mentioned ,the one behind MK and someone else said and there is one by the All Stars. I can't remember off hand where the new one is going.mjmcca said:Disney has 2 fire/ambulance stations that I have seen on property. One is near SSR and the other is near CBR.
