what is Toy Story Mania?

MGM used to be my favorite park, but in recent trips, not so much. :|
ToT and RNR are awesome, but there just isn't enough in that park! lol. Plus its set up kind of poorly. They have their two main attractions right next to each other, and it can get kind of blocked up.

Not that I don't still love MGM, because I totally do. Is Toy Story Mania good? Isn't it just like Buzz? I don't get why they made two really similar rides about the same movie..

Little details? All the street performers. They are all so awesome and do such a great job getting the guest involved and having fun.

Funny weird things that have happend there. I was pulled into a scene on New York Street and it was suppose to be in the 1920's so they made me do tango and the Charleston and put a flapper dress on. It was fun but very embarressing.

it is VERY different then buzz...yea it ur trying to score points but it is 100 times better...if toy story mania was the only ride there i would still go...and definitely worth the 70 minute wait lol

I think the earliest I went was '94, so its possible I was there when it was around. lol, my parents just probably saw no point in bringing a 3 year old and a 6 year old to a golden girls show.

I haven't gotten to go to Toy Story Mania. I asked my mom if we could go to the passholder preview right before it opened and she said no. And I have seasonal passes so I can't go back to any parks until August 15th.

But I really want to ride it soon!

It was AMAZING. Since it just opened there were some technical difficulties and there were times when it was closed. But we waited in a line in front of the gate for an hour and it opened while we were there The CMs bothered me because they were so negative saying it wasn't going to open. And it did so blah xD Hahaha. But it was so much fun. I was cracking up the entire time I actually got to go to the press confrence where they officially opened the ride for previews

I know but we skip out on all of that stuff.

Ohh. Haha. I love it; it's so entertaining.

what is Toy Story Mania?

Toy Story Mania is an interactive 3-D ride where you go in a little moving vehicle that takes you around and you play these like carnival games. It's super fun.

Fatasmic is amazing to me. I bought the soundtrack. I just love it.
Something I always have to see.

TOT is my favorite ride.
RnRc is awesome too.
Pizza Planet is delicious.
That's really all I go for though, it doesn't have much.
I haven't been to disney since Toy Story Mania since it's been built.

my favorite thing in Hollywood studios is probably the great movie ride!! i know practially the whole script and i renact it to my family when i get bored. i really love HS and it has so many good rides and all of the hollywood stuff makes me happy

and that new toy story ride is pretty flipping amazing. i went the day after it opened.

i havent seen the toy story thing yet though, so ill have to see that when i go

i love all the sights, & the sounds, especially on sunset boulevard
i will still always call it MGM, disneys hollywood studios just sounds un natural, loll

I love the street preformers too.
We were waiting for the parade a guy in a police officer outfit came up to this young kid in a stroller and gave him a ticket and told him to take it to the courthouse.
The kid thought he was serious and started crying. Aww, they kept trying to tell him, he was kidding but he wouldn't listen.
The same guy gave my step-dad a fake 500 dollar bill to get a shave. xD
My mom put the fake money in her scrapbook.

Then the one that sang came over and sang to us and a couple other people.

as for weird things, for the first several years i was there, whenever we came out of Muppet*Vision 4D, it would rain. No joke, we didnt plan it like that, it just would rain

i dont like how they changed the name. i am so used to callin it MGM.

but,....

i like lots of the rides. i especially like the section of the park where toy story mania is and Muppets 3D, its so cool. restaurants-i would have to say that my favorite restaurant is Sci-Fi. has anyone else been there?

a long time ago in muppet 3d my siseter pocked teh glasses though her ear and it was bleeding for a while.
