WDW site chat feature

Hello, I'm sure I'm in the wrong forum... Moderators feel free to move the thread.

I haven't been able to use the chat feature on the WDW site for a couple weeks now. Tried 2 differents computers on 2 separate network, used Incognito mode, tried different browsers, cleared the cache. The icon for the chat shows up as pale "grey" (inactive) and when I try to click on it, I get the message that all CM are busy and to try later. I've tried almost every hour between 7am and 10pm and no luck.

Anyone else having this issue or are you able to use the chat feature? Thanks.

Even tried a VPN to see if it was geoblocking me... Nope.

I just used it Tuesday, I think. It was mid-late morning, I believe and it worked fine. Honestly the couple times I've chatted with someone they weren't really able to help much. Tuesday was just a simple question (which as it turns out they answered incorrectly).

I just used it today at 3:25 p.m.

The chat is ONLY available when there is a CM available to take the chat. If you finding out the chat isn't available, then neither is a CM to chat to. The best thing to do is to either to keeping trying at different times throughout the day or call Disney reservation directly with your question(s)?

If anyone of you is wondering or is having the same issue. I finally figured out the problem with the chat feature... My language was set to English (Canada)... I switched it to English(US) and the feature became "magically" available. I guess Disney thinks us crazy Canucks don't speak the same English as they do... eh?
