WDW Signature Restaurant Suggestions...

I think the menu on allearsnet.com is out of date, but it's still a very good place to eat. Their calamari appetizer is out of this world! :worship:

Cool, I didn't know about this place, we'll def have to give it a try! I love trying all the Disney restaurants. I'm not a very picky eater though, I can find something on almost any menu that I like; unless it's sea food :snooty: Sometimes even if we don't think the food is fan-freaking-tastic, like San Angelo, we'll go for the ambiance. I've seen reviews for that place and I don't think it's as bad some some people say, but it wasn't the best either. The cool atmosphere and the nice staff we encountered will sure bring us back though!

Bummer , Thanks for letting me know! I am still going to add it to the list because if all else fails at least the drinks are good, right?:thumbsup2

Actually, scratch that. I just checked again and they've updated it recently. You're good to go.

I had to choose a restaurant for my trip down last September too, for my parent's anniversary and my brother's birthday. So I wanted it to be special. And I had already sent my parents to Victoria & Albert's for a prior anniversary, so I was looking among the signature restaurants that are being suggested here. I chose Artist Point and it was wonderful. If you go, try to reserve a table by the window, it has nice atmosphere anywhere you sit with its huge ceiling, but getting to look out down the 'canyon' to Bay Lake with the setting sun was really pretty.
I'm also a vegetarian, and they had some of the better options for us veg*ans to dine in WDW.

Yes, I have hijacked this thread ("You will take me to Cuba, now!") but it's at least a little related. And I agree, I had originally overlooked CG but CG does have the atmosphere element (Top of the World) that Yachtsman Steakhouse seems to lack. If I don't get CRT, seems like the next best place to celebrate an important birthday.

Please, hijack away!!! I love all of the suggestions! :thumbsup2
