Good evening!

I'm new to discussion boards but am thoroughly enjoying reading each post as we plan for our September, 2005 trip to WDW.

Visited Universal Studios and IOA in May, 2005 -- can anyone tell me what to expect regarding differences between these parks & WDW as it relates to rides/stuff for kids?!? Our DD will be 3.5 years old when we arrive at WDW

Thanks much!

Have you checked out www.allearsnet.com? They have information on all of the rides for all of the Disney parks. Also, the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World has tons of info on rides, etc. Welcome to the Dis, and I hope you have a great trip! :)

We were at US two years ago after having been to WDW the year before.Dont get me wrong ,I really liked US but I dont like big , scary rides much.
WDW is much more my speed. Your 3.5 yr old will have so many options at every park. Not only are there many more rides for a young one but there are alot of playgrounds and water activities(be sure to wear or take a swimsuit and a change of clothes).
Also the interaction with CMs is one of the things I liked much more about WDW than US.
ENJOY!

Welcome!! There's lots of good info here, keep reading.
We'll be there in Sept. too. :flower:
We went to US during our first trip to Disney, and I wouldn't do it again until the younger two are older. Disney is geared more for children. Magic Kingdom especially. As the previous poster stated, there's more rides, characeter's, etc. It's cleaner, friendlier.....it's Disney!! You'll SEE the difference, believe me. Enjoy!
