I'm hoping there will be some left on the 21st. we're actually leaving for FL this wed. but will be on the 7 day dis cruise, and I really want to do the Villaintines Day one as well as sweethearts, but its hard to tell how quickly they'll go. We got all but one of the santa's pin list pins 2 weeks after they started. Seems like there are a LOT of pin pursuits lately will I ever get to go on a ride again???

Everything went pretty smooth. I didn't buy all the pins and was already buying for two others.

From a post on Dizpins, they only printed 1500 cards to go with the pins.

I bought two L&T pins at DTD for a friend. The CM who rang me up was very particular I only rec'd two cards because we bought two L&T pins. The cards were behind the counter. At first she jokingly (?? *joked* but with a straight face) said I couldn't have the cards. It was almost like trying to get a HG.

She even stamped our receipts showing we rec'd the cards, and had accidently given me three. She took one back. (Nice, but firm -- over a card. ???)

She mentioned they had problems in the past with people keep on getting cards, saying they had not rec'd one, but had.

I didn't know having the cards pins go on was such a big deal. I can't imagine the cost would be that great to print 2000 as opposed to 1500.

I guess I am not surprised that the card/map is now being (somewhat) tracked.

If you take a look at eBay, you will find that these items tend to hold value long past some of the rack pins that go with them. I'm guessing that someone has finally noticed and now attempting to staunch the flow.

We're a family of five, so we invariably have extra maps. I've <b>given</b> extra maps to pinpals, traded a map for a pin, and even sold a map with the completer pin as a set.

But we don't go back and ask for extras. If I've promised a map to a pinpal back home, it's from one of our five.

Of course, the next step is we'll have to pay for our maps, <i>like they do at <b>DLR.</b></i>
