WDW Railroad

How long does it take for a ride around the whole park on the railroad? I am hoping to use it to occupy DS2 while DH and DD5 are riding Splash/BTR. Can we go around twice without having to get off? Thanks

I'd say it's a good 20+ minutes, depending on how long they stop at the different train stations. There isn't a whole lot to see, but if your son is a train junkie (like my nephew), it should keep him occupied!
I'm pretty sure that you can just stay on for as many times as you'd like. They don't know who got on at what stop (kind of like the monorail) and where your ultimate destination is. Btw, if the rest of your family is going to be at Splash Mt., the one train station lets you off right next to it.

Even with FP, Splash takes about 20 minutes, so you could make it around once while they are there. BTM doesn't take as long, though--might be better off going around once, then letting DS2 play in the Splash play area. That's what I would do, anyway--DD2 loves trains, but not enough to sit still on one for 40 minutes!

The railroad is a good idea, but you may get bored going around more than once. Your enjoyment is just as important.

The Country Bears are nearby and the River boat isn't too far away.
