In anticipation of our upcoming Disney Cruise with a day in the MK, I have been shopping around for souvenirs in advance. Can anyone speak to recent pricing in the parks for Mickey ears and stuffed animals? I want to compare with Disney store sale prices.

this year is the "year if the ears" so this month and next month is suppose to have rare mouse ears.... anyone know what they look like?

I bought our 4 & 5 yr old daughters a few stuffed animals. Medium sized Simba, Doc McStuffins & 1 or 2 others. I believe price on those were about $16.95. Also bought ears hair bands or ear hats for all 5 kids. Prices were right around $15. This was in Feb 2013.

If you have time to wait on a sale before you buy them, I would wait to buy hats then. If you want to buy them at the parks I can say that last week most of the ear hats (not just the traditional ones) were under $20, many "character ones" to choose from plus the traditional ones, and I even saw pink and blue ones that were the traditional design at the MK 1 week ago and they can be embroidered with names if you like.

As far as stuffed animals, I would wait for a sale but that is because I like to get more bang for my buck. But I would have to think about whether I was driving vs flying thus the space I would have for them, or if I bought them in advance and was flying I might ship them to the resort, in which case you might be negating the savings by shopping in advance. I will say that there appear to be a lot more choices of stuffed animals in more sizes at the park gift shops and at the large Disney shop at DTD so that might be a deciding factor for you too.

I just bought 2 Mouseke-ear mini hats (Donald and Goofy) from the Disney Store on sale plus 10% off from my Disney Visa, they were $6.75 each.

I like the Strawberry Ear Hat that they have this month.

Anybody know the character pillow pet selection and prices at the parks? Tempted by the Disneystore.com sale!

They are $29.99 each plus tax last time I was at the park. I think the selection online is the same as in the parks. If you have a Disney Visa and spend more than $50 you can use the coupon code for 10% off, and if you spend more than $75 you can use the coupon code for free shipping off the website. They are also offering a Mickey Beach Tote for $15 if you spend $25 or more. I went ahead and ordered one since we need a beach bag when we go to the pool. It's really nice and reminds me of the Poly.
