I know a lot of people watch movies to get psyched for their upcoming trips but I love listening to music too.

Tell me what's on your WDW playlist...:music:

Listening to mine right now as I read the DIS (my trip is in 25 days). This is pretty long....

1. Part of Your World (Little Mermaid)

11. Savages (Pocahontas)
12. Farewell (Pocahontas)
13. Kingdom Dance (Tangled)
14. I See the Light (Tangled)
15. Something that I want (Tangled)
16. Reflection (Mulan)
17. I'll Make a Man Out of You (Mulan)

20. Why Should I Worry (Oliver and Company)
21. Baby Mine (Dumbo)
22. When You Wish Upon a Star (Pinnochio)

30. Go the Distance (Hercules)
31. Feed the Birds (Mary Poppins)
32. I Just Can't Wait to be King (Lion King)
33. Hakuna Matata (Lion King)

And then I ALSO have a Disney Parks Playlist which I will also listen to in order to get psyched about the parks:

1. Wishes
2. Spectromagic Parade
3. Peter Pan's Flight
4. The Many Adventures of Whinnie the Pooh
5. Haunted Mansion
6. Fantasmic
7. Spaceship Earth
8. Soarin'
9. Illuminations
10. Hallowishes
11. Ultimate Disneyland Soundtrack Mix (22 minute track of all Disneyland music)

I've got a bunch of playlists, haha. One that's "Disney" with movie songs from:
-Little Mermaid
-Lion King
-Aladdin
-Beauty and the Beast
-Tangled
-Princess and the Frog
-Pocahontas

Then I've got a playlist for each of the parks that has stuff like:
-Splash Mtn Song
-Main Street Loop Music
-MK rope drop
-Wishes
-Various parades/nighttime shows/ride songs

Since I drive down. I listen to music on the way down. I listen to a Podcast or two. Or some music or a combination of it. I have about 80 songs and 3 podcast I listen to. I always listen to Wishes since that is my favorite show

Where does everyone get their park music from! Would be the best addition to my iPod :goodvibes:

My favorite is Four Parks One World! I listen to that every day!!! I bought it at WDW, but I'm sure you can get it elsewhere.

ETA - just searched on Amazon and it's available there. It's a great CD. :)

I downloaded an app on my iPhone(for free) called live365. I listen to Magic Radio and Dluminations! They play park loops, parades, firework shows, rides and even the audio from "Must Do Disney"!!!

That is also our "go to" soundtrack, as it goes through all four parks and includes music from lots of the rides and attractions. We have also bought the CDs for Spectromagic, Wishes and the Festival of the Lion King show. I also found the Orange Bird song online for my own retro addition to our parks collection, and we have added "This Is Halloween" to the rotation in honor of MNSSHP. We did MVMCP in December for the first time, and I'd love to find the soundtrack playing throughout the park if anyone knows where that could be found.

Last week, I was looking around the web for the Fantasmic! music and ran across CDs focused on Haunted Mansion and POTC, each with tons of ride-related soundtracks. With all three of these, however, they seem to be focused on the Disneyland versions rather than WDW. Probably getting them anyway at some point soon, as they'd be close enough to what we know from WDW.

Last but not least, I heard a reference to www.magicalmouseradio.com on a podcast recently, and that site plays what appears to be a continuous loop of park and resort audio. Haven't studied it long enough to see how to buy any of what you're hearing (if possible), but would love to know if that is possible. There is a shopping cart image, but either I'm doing something wrong or amazon doesn't carry the music/audio implied by the website. Either way, thrilled that I have come across this website!

Somebody should make a Spotify Playlist of a bunch of Disney Parks music. That's be cool. I'm not sure my co-workers would appreciate it, but it'd get me in a better mood at work!

There's a software product and website called RadioSure, free, that has a few Disney oriented channels. They play the background music from the parks as well as the rides, they even have the pre-show from Soarin' featuring Putty, and one can record to a PC in mp3 format with a mouse click. I've got a 2 gig mp3 player loaded with these nad these never fail to put me 'In the Moment'. For some reason I'm not really into Disney movies, WDW is my second home and hearing the park music is the next best thing to being there.

Great thread! :)

I have mostly Disney movie music that I listen to on the way to WDW...I have several of the "Disney's Greatest" CD that are always available at Walmart/etc.

A side note...does anyone know the WDW Merchandise number to call to have them send one of the "Four Parks One World" CD's to me? That one sounds great, and it seems like it might be a bit overpriced on Amazon.

Is that CD available in the parks? Since we are going in three weeks, I might just pick it up there. I've tried downloading music from iTunes, but they don't have it available :(

877-560-6477 (toll Free). I think the price on Amazon is high because it's only available through sellers who are selling through Amazon, rather than from Amazon itself.

Thanks!

I believe it should be in the parks, yes. Also, that's why I want to call and have them ship it to me. :) I couldn't find it on iTunes. They do have the CD for Wishes now though!

I listen to the Sorcerer Radio station or several other Disney stations on live365.

You do know there is a Spotify playlist of Disney music (not park music, except for It's a Small World).

And here is my Spotify playlist of Disney songs that didn't make the first list. Although, I think there are actually a few songs that did make the first list since it was updated.

Four Parks One World is in my cd player right now! I prefer disc 2 over disc 1 but love them both. Something about the music from Soarin' really makes me feel like I am there! We leave in 65 days and I can barely contain myself - but the music helps keep me calm while I count down the days!

I found my copy of the old DCA soundtrack- but I have to be careful, I'm directing Grease right now at work- and I need to keep those tunes in my head, not have flashbacks to screamin while driving these crazy mountain roads.
