Thanks for the thoughts on where we should stay at WDW with 4 kids.

Our plans right now are:

Head for Disney Feb. 8. We are driving.
Stay there 3-4 nights and then go to the Beach.
Head back home Feb. 15.

Should we change our plans so that we aren't staying at Disney over the weekend?

We plan to stay at ASMu and get two rooms. How do we get the cheapest rates? Just call or go through a travel agent or card.

We are going to MK only, we are thinking of getting a 2 or 3 day pass (depends on how long we decide to stay). Where is the cheapest place to get those?

Thanks again for your help!

the ap rates were just released yesterday for 1/02 - 2/12/02
I booked preferred view at ASMu for $67.20 night including tax
I could have had a standard room at ASMu or ASsp for $49 plus tax
You don't all have to have the AP to get that rate - I believe you could buy one childs AP & get two rooms at that rate
Check with how many nights you are staying vs. price of ticket it might save you some dough

Reminisce71, we will be driving down to Disney on 2/6 and get into Disney on 2/8. We are booked through the 16th and I got us a rate of $69 (tax included) with a AAA discount. I am also looking at whether to buy an AP to get the great rate. I know that we proably won't be back in the year, so it's a toss up for us. Try ticketmania.com or paramountinternationaltravel.com for the best ticket prices.

luv2nascar, can you buy a child's AP and book it under their name to get the discount? I did ready that the reservation has to be in the AP holders name, is this right?

Thanks! So I can use a child's AP to reserve a room?? Who's name do I make the reservation in?

Hi Jennifer!

I do not think that you can book a room with a child's AP, but I could be wrong.
Anyone else?
