WDW Pal Mickey photograph theme suggestions

I don't know if you'll ever see such a "pixie dust" post from me again...

Last time I went down to Disney, last summer, I didn't take many pictures at all, and I regret it immensely.

To say the least... I'm not going to make the same mistake again.

I'm going to be a compulsive shutterbug, and intend to fill up rolls upon rolls of film to sufficiently document my trip. My aunt, who's taking me, is also requesting that I come up with a "theme" for a scrapbook she's going to make, and I decided to do a sort of "Pal Mickey" thing, inspired by a photo gallery of someone I saw on another Disney forum. I must stress that these are not my pictures or captions...

I don't want to hotlink to her images, but I'd bet that a lot of people here would appreciate them.

Anyway, since I'm going to be taking so many pictures, I was wondering if anyone wanted to contribute "clever" ideas or if anyone had any specific requests of anything they'd like to see? For the record, being the total nerd I am, I plan to go all out: Pictures of Mickey at dinner, etc etc.

Yeah, I guess I am going to be a seventeen year old male carrying around a stuffed animal through Disney World, but nevermind that.

Cool idea and one that should prove to be a lot of fun.

If Epcot is on your itinerary I would do a “Mickey Around the World” layout. You could dress up your little guy in hats at each of the World Showcase Pavilions and place the various flags of each country in his hands.

You could also do a "Mickey Meets the Characters." Have each character you see hold your Mickey. Of course, you could be in these pics too.

It would seem that there's an unending list of ideas!

Oh, and not to be picky or anything but is that really a "Pal Mickey" in the pictures of is that just a Mickey pal? The Mickey in the pics seems a little too small to be an actual Pal Mickey.

Cute idea! How about getting him an outfit or two at a Build a Bear store (or check the website buildabear.com ) You can maybe dress him up in vacationer garb Lots of neat stuff there, they even have Disney outfits (Buzz Lightyear, etc), LOL

This will be soooo much fun..I did this a few years back,,,,,make sure you take MICKEY into get a HAIR CUTE on Main Street,,they put the apron on (MY STUFFED ANIMAL--he was a TURTLE),,and made like they were giving him a trim,,cute picture !! I also had him sitting with the Driver or the trolly down main Street,,,Also buying POP CORN,,The cast Members are very HAPPY to do this,,(or just worried WE will go off the deep end if they dont LOL) It is fun---It may not seem as STRANGE (LOL) with a MICKEY as it did with a STUFFED TURTLE,,,,have a GREAT TIME,,,and do show us some of the ones ya got!!!!

My cousin and I did something similar to this when we were in high school...and this summer we are taking his niece and nephew to WDW without their parents and we're going to do it again with them! Kinda passing on our wackiness!

But instead of Pal Mickey, we are doing a shoot called "Pepe Around the World". We bought an action figure of Pepe the King Prawn (of the Muppets) on vacation. We are going to take pictures of him all over the WDW. on the beach at the Poly, at PI, and all the parks...it should be fun! but, thats us, wacky fun people!
