WDW Outdoor wedding during thunderstorms

HELP

I have checked the weather forecast for the next month and the day Iam due to get married there are thunderstorms predicted.

I am ready to have a break down

Iam for Luau Beach on 30th

I really want some nice outdoor pics on the beach, not all indoor pics

Feeling scared and sick

First, never put any stock into a weather forecast more than 2-3 days out. Things can and do change frequently.

Second, Florida weather can be unpredictable, so no one can guarantee you won't have a thunderstorm, but October is DFTWs busiest month for a reason - and that reason is the weather. It's not usually as hot as September and its not prone to cold snaps as much as the later winter months.

Our wedding was the Friday after superstorm sandy hit - and al of our guests were from PA/NY/NJ. So I know all about stressing over the weather. Disney handled everything, and I do mean everything, without a hitch. It worked out perfectly. While all of our guests were able to make it down to Florida, Disney was bending over backwards to let us lower numbers and prepare for a smaller event.

Usually Florida thunderstorms are a quick hit- moving through fairly fast. Chances are any storms in the area would clear fairly fast and you'll get your pictures. Don't stress - if there's one thing even Disney can't control, it's the weather. Think positive
