WDW on Thanksgiving

Next year we will be in WDW during thanksgiving so I'm wondering what's it like?

Will it be busy?
Will there be anything extra?
Has anyone else been during thanksgiving and what was their experience?

Parks very busy, I would avoid that day and have a non park day. 2 years ago though I found Universal manageable, but Disney was rammed. Thanksgiving most shops are closed, Walmart is open as normal. Black Friday though is bonkers- biggest sale day of the year and parking at the malls etc becomes a nightmare and stressful. Unless you are a hardened shopper then I would avoid.
The Monday after thanksgiving things calm down and by the Tuesday its back to normal.
