27 and some change + tax and tip :)

OK, I'll play along.

Breakfast:
Main Street Bakery
Pastry approx $3

Lunch:
Tony's
Random entree and soft drink approx $23

Dinner:
Earl of Sandwich
Sandwich and drink approx $9

Snack:
Something(s) for $5 or less...

But the thing is, I wouldn't just stick to $40 per day. I will usually spend much more some days, much less other days. Unless it's a TS, I almost never buy something to eat for breakfast, I'll either have an early lunch or munch on something in the room before I leave (which is usually leftovers from the previous night).
