Hi,

First of all i'm so sorry about my English but i'm Spanish. I hope you forgive me.

My girlfriend and me are planning our honeymoon in WDW the next October, and we have several questions about the dining plan:

- Is there any restriction about the meals you can order if you use the dining plan?. Tell me your experiences, please!!

- About the drinks, with the dining plan are included one drink or you can order more than one?

- About the breakfast, i think the breakfast isn't included, and if you want you can have breakfast using ¿one CS or one TS?.

- About the time to lunch and to dinner, i usually have lunch at 2 pm and dinner at 10 pm, is it possible in WDW with the dining plan?. Or do you think is better have a later breakfast (10 am) and a early dinner (7 pm)?

- I have read that the dishes are very high and it is possible to share the food because the food for one is enough for two. Is it right?. For instance two persons can go to a CS o TS, and only order one CS or one TS? Is it enogh?. If this was ok, i think this is one way for going another day to a TS in which 2 TS is necessary, isn't it?.

- Is necessary booking in advance all my TS? What restaurants are necessary booking in advance?

- In TS restaurants what is the timetable for dinner and for lunch? I don't know but for instance Lunch: 11 am-3 pm and Dinner 5 pm-11 pm.

Thank you very much for your help.

One additional question about dining plan:

- It is possible have breakfast two persons using one CS, and after have lunch with another one CS. Is it enough food?. I understand that it is not possible in the buffet restaurants, isn't it?

Can anyone tell me some example about how many food can we get in a CS breakfast? and in a CS lunch? Is it enogh food for two?

Thanks

I will try to answer some of your questions.

1. A lot of people share both counter service and table service credits. If I were you I would look on allearsnet at the menus and decide if one meal would be enough for the two of you. We did it and had more than enough food. You are right in that you can't share at a buffet.

2. You can use any combination of credits in a day. You do not have to stick to, for example, 1 cs and 1 ts in a day.

3.I would definitely make advanced dining reservations for any table service restaurant.

4. You can eat anytime you like as long at the restaurant is open at that time. When you are making reservations they will tell you the times that they are open.

5. You do get refills on your drinks.

Hope that helped some. Congratulations !!!! Have fun on your honeymoon

We used the Dining Plan in October this year, and we were very happy with it. We are not big breakfast eaters (Just juice and fruit in the room) so we used all of our CS for lunches. We had one CS and one TS each every day. Except for Morrocco for lunch one day, we used our TS for dinner.
Although it is a lot of food, it would not have been enough for my family to share CS and TS and be satisfied. Each person used their own credit.
You can use your credits anyway you wish. You can use a TS for a character buffet breakfast, for example. The best value is to use the TS for dinner.
Check out the menus at allearsnet.com for the restaurants you are interested in.
We (3 adults) saved over $450 between what we actually spent for the dining plan, and the cost of the meals we orderd.
Hope this helps.

Welcome!

- You may order most meals without restrictions. The restrictions are usually for items that you add to the main meal, such as lobster tail or shrimp.

- You may have more than one serving of soda, tea, coffee, etc. at TS meals but there are no refills at CS meals.

- You may have breakfast with a TS or CS credit. Dessert is not included in breakfast. A CS breakfast would be maybe eggs, bacon, a biscuit, and potatoes. You could choose juice, coffee, tea, or milk to drink. Menus are listed on www.allearsnet.com if you want to see the choices.

- Most restaurants do serve lunch at 2 PM, but it might be difficult to find a TS dinner at 10 PM. I think most TS restaurants are open until at least 9 PM, and CS places are open later. CS restaurants in the hotels are open until about 11 PM.

- The servings are usually large, but I do not know if it is enough to share. My husband and I like to eat different things so we each ordered a meal. We did not usually eat 3 meals each day. If you eat breakfast then maybe you can share lunch because you might not be very hungry.

- I always make reservations for all of my TS meals. If you change your mind you may cancel without penalty. We were there last October and even though it is not supposed to be very crowded I was very glad we had reservations for meals!

- I think your times for lunch and dinner are probably correct. Some TS are not open for lunch, and some close before 10 PM.

Enjoy your honeymoon! :)

Just a note on sharing food...my husband and I share meals quite often. Especially at CS. We have also shared at TS and many people on here say they do as well, with no problems.

1. yes it is pretty much neccessary to have ADR's (reservations for your meals) unless maybe you really do want to eat dinner at 10 pm every night, however...that is pretty late and I do not know how late the places are open during October, the parks were closed pretty early, like 9 when we were there last October, unless you go on a extra magic hour night...

2. you can get refills on non alcoholic beverages and have smoothies or floats sometimes if you want

3. We shares, except for at buffets like character meals or Ohana's where you have to pay per person...otherwise it would be very easy to share because you get tons of food!!!!

4. You can use your credits however you like, breakfast, lunch, dinner, 12 dinners, 12 lunches, whatever you want...use them til they are gone...we had a total of 25 TS credits to use however we liked

5. We found even CS meals to be big enough to share!!! We left there with 12 CS credits!!

it is a great plan and was not too restrictive but we are not HUGE eaters...

I was upset that one lady told me "NO LOBSTER" before I even asked...to which my husband replied...

"if you want it get it honey...if she were smart she would have upsold you and gotten a bigger tip!!!" LOL she should have said I can pay for it OOP but it is delicious and worth it and would not be too much OOP since I would be paying for the rest with credits...DUHH...

I did not get it but that is just FYI...
