Wdw Not Booking Akl????

I called about another reservation I had and was asking about AAA rates for AKL 12/07 and I was told they are not talking any reservations for the AKL at all because of the renovations. I understand why they aren't making them for dates that are coming up soon but won't they be done with the main building by 12/07? I do have a rack rate package booked for AKL CL with my AAA agent that I booked 6 monthes ago but I really was hoping for an AAA discount. They did tell me if I had a current reservation for 12/07 I should be okay but they couldn't make a new reservation. I am looking forward to staying AKL in 12/07 but if they are still are having issues in December they better offer a really good deal to switch resorts because I am not willing to pay rack rate and have to put up with alot of loud noise from the renovations.Does anyone have any more information on the renovation timeline?

it won't be noise.

they are doing that now. I am assuming they are busy tearing down all the walls NOW and moving the plumbing. putting up walls shouldn't be noise.

Don't know what the new timeline is.

the originally was for May, 2008 finished with the inside of the AKL. but they have changed it.

they might be sold out. Right now they might be on the side of wait and see.

They are still booking for later in the year, but availability is limited. I know they are not taking new reservations for the immediate future due to the renovations.
