WDW nighttime weather

I honestly feel like a doofus even asking this question, BUT...

At this time of year, are the nights cool at all? Someone at my son's school suggested packing long sleeves and long pants, which I really did not think we needed. I was just going to bring one light jacket per person and otherwise all short (or no) sleeves and short pants. Would this be a mistake?

My packing space is at a premium, so I really don't want to waste room on stuff we won't wear.

my opinion NO.

but others feel the chill much worst.

now sometimes the inside shows can be a little cold - but hey the most time you are in them is 30 minutes.

right now because the humdity is back won't even be considered.

We just got back last Wednesday - and we definitely didn't need any sweaters or long pants. I did carry a sweater in the bottom of the stroller every day for my 2 year old, but never used it.

The last time I went in the summer, the only reason I needed long pants was for mosquito protection! I was eaten alive in the Epcot/Boardwalk area. The pants added another layer of protection, although I still wore sandals, so they then went for my feet. I even got bitten on some of the rides.

We ended up buying additional bug spray, as we used all of ours. It wasn't cheap, but definitely neccessary! The spray helped, but after the first experience, I wasn't going to chance it, and wore pants ANY evening I went to Epcot or the Boardwalk. I didn't have this problem anywhere else at WDW.
