Hello all,
I am a usual poster on the rumors and news board, but I am in need of your expertise.

I and my family have been to WDW many times, but we have never done the minigolf. Wanted to do that this trip in June.

My questions are...
1) how is the best way to get there?
2) do you need reservations?
3) is there a better day or time to do this?
4 ) Which course do you prefer - we are planning the fantasia course right now

thanks in advance!

1) If you have a car, driving is easiest. If not, it depends where you're staying and which course you're trying to get to.
2) No
3) If you have the free tickets with a package they can only be used after 4pm I think. Otherwise, doesn't really matter.
4) If you want a challenge, the fairways course at Fantasia Gardens

If you are using Disney buses, go to Swan from a park, or, DHS from a resort. You can easily walk to Fantasia Gardens.

It’s a fun course and if you like Fantasia, you’ll love the theming. When we’ve played in the evenings, we did need to use insect repellent - we always carry Off wipes with us.

Do you have kids with you? The Winter Summer Land course is really cute. The holes are very imaginative & well themed. It is in the same place as Blizzard Beach, so you would just take the BB bus. We have gone early in the day & had minimal to no wait. Either course can get busy. They will put your name on a list & call your name when it is your turn to tee off. I think they get busy later in the day.

If you have the package, double check the restrictions. I thought the tickets had to be used before 4 pm, not after. Because they get busy in the evenings.

1. Agree that a bus to Swan/Dolphin and walk across the street is the cheapest. We used Uber to return to our hotel because we were tired.
2. No
3. I would schedule it around your park time but keep in mind that there isn't a lot of shade.
4. We did fantasia. They looked similar enough and with 8 of us, we wanted an easier course.

We really enjoy both Fantasia and WinterSummerland. Others have given you great advice on how to get to the courses. My advice, if you can, is to arrive as soon as the course opens. They send parties out every 5 minutes, so, once you have a few families waiting, the wait time can get quite long. We arrived around 10:30 am on our last trip in March and the wait was already 30 minutes. As others have said, there is no shade, so make sure to bring sunscreen and, perhaps, a hat. If you'd like to go to WinterSummerland, you can take a bus to BB as it's right next door.

We love WinterSummer Land. We go every trip! We just take either an uber or a Minnie Van!

We have done the fantasia gardens. As others have said drive if u have a car, otherwise uber/ lyft or take the bus to dhs and walk. Both Fantasia courses are fun! The fairways course is hard but fun, more theming on the other... The earlier you show up the lighter the crowds will be.

With the direct buses to the water parks now it would make travel to Winter Summerland much easier. We prefer that one anyway.

We prefer to go when it first opens as there is very little shade (we usually visit in June). For younger kids I recommend winter Summerland. Really cute theme and Christmas songs played throughout the course.

1. You can walk to the Fantasia course (it involves crossing one street) from the Epcot resort area. The other course is right by Blizzard Beach, so you can take the bus to Blizzard Beach & do mini-golf instead of the water park.
2. No
3. In summer, after sunset is best. No sun beating down on you, and if you're lucky, the HS fireworks will go off while you're playing on the Fantasia course.
4. We've only played at Fantasia, and we liked it a lot.
