HI, my mom used to go on all kinds of trips with her grandparents (my great grandparents), and one of those trips was to WDW (I'M BURNING WITH JELOUSY LOL). She showed me some things: Foil hotdog wrapper with American parade featuring goofy, mickey, donald. A popcorn thing with the same design. A few Animal or Magic Kingdom E-tickets (NOT PINS), a sticker with mickey next to the state of Florida with the WDW castle. I am sure that is it (besides some awesume pictures!!). I have pics of this if you would like. OHYA, she also has a pass to get into WDW, and I guess a pass to see Walt Disney speak?? Anyway, if you wanna see it, I'll email you a pic or whatever. This stuff is from 1976, and wanted to know if it is worth anything (Stuff not for sale!!). Thanks, pin_collector@hotmail.com :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Sounds like a lot of fun stuff, full of great memories. However, the the pass you mentioned could not have been to see Walt Disney speak, as he passed away ten years earlier in 1966.

Have you started to collect pins yet?

Your pin pal...Disneyboy

Only the Magic Kingdom was open in 1976. EPCOT opened in 1982 , MGM after that and AK in 1998/9.

Sounds like lots of great stuff. At that time, Park entrance was about $3-5 and then you had to give tickets to get onto each ride.
"A" tickets were for things like the transportation up/down Main St and the Carousel.
Can't remember a "B" ticket attraction
"C" tickets were for things like Dumbo, Snow White, Mr. Toad
"D" tickets were for things like Tiki Birds, River Boats
"E" tickets were for the big attractions, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, etc.
There were only 4 things where you didn't need a ticket
CircleVision 360, If you had Wings, Carousel of Progress, and Walt Disney story.

Who says this board isn't educational?

As for value, yes there are people who collect "Disney paper", but I am not one of them, so I can't help you.
