Hi! I don't whether anyone remembers me, but used to post on here lots a fair while ago, but unfortunately I went to university and that more or less took over my social life and I had less and less time for the Dis :( I am however happy to report that I've graduated () and having suddenly got my life back, I'm back on the Dis and very excited about it!! :cool1:

The actual reason for this post however was to ask about WDW in September. My family and I are really keen to go next year, and we've been looking at going at the very beginning of September (we'd be flying out Aug 30th) the only problem is that none of us really know what to expect of September in Florida! We've been in April and July before but never September. Can anyone who's ever been then let me know what it's like weather and crowd wise please? Or for that matter, absolutely anything you might know about September in Florida would be very much appreciated!! We've looked on a few websites but none have really helped, and I know you guys will tell it like it is!!

Thanks!!

welcome back and congratulations on your graduation!!! :goodvibes
September is a great time to go as its still very hot, its quieter as well and not as humid, hardly any rain- we are going this september on the 21st!! Overall its a brill time to go and we go every sept/oct because of this :)

We love going in September. The first weekend in September will be very busy as it is Labour Day in the USA that weekend. Most of the kids will go back to school straight after this and then it will be very quiet.

Thanks Netty, it's so good to be back on the boards again! I've been addicted all day! The weather sounds perfect :thumbsup2

I'd forgotten about Labor day Corinna thanks for the reminder! We've been over July 4th and Easter before though so I'm hoping it won't be as busy as then!

I've also just realised Disney's Night of Joy is at the beginning of Sept too, does this get really busy?

Hi Laura, Welcome back,Ive no advise on your trip Im afraid, but just wanted to welcome you back to the boards and say congratulations on graduating:goodvibes

:wave2: Welcome back Laura, it's lovely to hear from you

:cheer2: Congratulations on graduating

I'm off to WDW in 5 weeks for my first trip in September, so I will let you know when I get back (I'll no doubt do a trippy)

Happy planning :)

We have been two weeks either side of your trip before the last two weeks in august when we went it rained every day! When we went last two weeks in September it was lovely very hot! Very humid! It rained three times in two weeks but luckily it was when we were back in the room! Crowd wise it was light I can't comment on que length/times as I was pregnant t the time and didn't take much notice as I wasn't a loud on many of them!

In my opinion any time of the year in WDW is the best time where would you rather be lol!!!!!

Our last 3 trips have all been Sept/Oct trips and we are off on our 4th trip on the 22nd of september this year.

On our last trip in Sept 09 we had a fantastic time. The weather is great, still hot but lower humidity levels and hardly any rain.

The crowd levels in the parks are very manageable, the longest wait we had for any attraction was about 15 mins.

ADR's are quite easy to come by providing you plan ahead.

But the best thing about Sept is MNSSHP. We had a great time in 09. My whole family dressed up as dalmations, we met up with Netty and a few other Dis'ers. A fantastic night.

Happy planning and well done on your graduation.
