Would you visit in September or November and why? Thanks!!! :yay:

It's usually more of a do you want Halloween or Christmas and do you want to cook or be fairly comfortable, but possibly cold? LOL
Also, is it absolutely important to you to be warm enough to swim, which November absolutely can be, but sometime not.

Thanks! Just wondering what people prefer. We've been in Oct a couple of times but never in Sept our Nov. Can't make up my mind on when to go. :thanks:

I've been to WDW in September, October, and November -- my vote is November over September. I'd rather be cold than hot and humid!

Personally, I would choose November (have done both) because September is just so hot and humid. We find that we just enjoy the parks so much more when we aren't super hot and irritable.

Nov is my absolute favorite time to go. It has been our best trip weather wise. Cool nights and cool early mornings then it warmed up in the afternoon so you could take off your sweatshirt. Perfect weather for park touring, no humidity at all. We had one little rain shower, but it was when we were sleeping at night. We went the week after thanksgiving, it happened to be a year when Thanksgiving was early so wound up leaving on Dec 1st. It was perfect, and very low crowds.

I'm going to go with November as well. We have gone with another couple in November for the last four years, but this year will be there September 30-October 4 to get in on the F&W Festival. I'm anticipating that this will be a one-time thing and we will return to November trips after this year. I think we will miss the Christmas festivities and the cooler weather!

Like others have mentioned, it all depends on what you want to see. Halloween and F&W, or Christmas. Me, I prefer Halloween and F&W. So i'd opt for Sept even though it can be humid, i'm use to it. I love the low crowds in Sept!

I love November. Some evenings, you actually can wear a jacket. However, because of the age of my girls, I will say our preferred time of September. The pool is probably the biggest draw of all Disney World. And so it must be a guarantee that it's warm enough to swim.

If you've never seen halloween or christmas, either is a good choice. We really love halloween (in general, not just at disney) so we tend to lean towards the world being in fall/halloween decorations.

You guys all rock! We've been for F&W and we're going to our first MNSSHP in 3 weeks. I'm trying to plan next year's trips and I'm leaning towards Nov but we're bringing friends and their 2 girls who I'm sure will want to swim. Is the first couple weeks of Nov still warm weather? When do the holiday decorations go up? Thanks for all the replies everyone!!! :yay:

I absolutely loved the week after thanksgiving. Christmas decorations are up, the weather is just the right combination of warm and cool, and crowds were always manageable. With my health, I know I couldn't handle the heat and humidity of September.
