I have never been to Florida, let alone WDW. We will be there from 10/9-10/13. What is the weather like?? What should we pack for clothing?? Is it still warm enough to swim??

Thanks

We went to Disney in October the last time and loved it sooooo much that we are going again this year in October!! We went from the 18th -28th and it was betwen 80 -85 everyday and we had 2 minutes of rain one night only!! The crowds were lighter than in the Spring and we went swimming everyday (and I don't swim unless it is VERY warm)!!! You will love it

disney in october is great. We went the last 2 years in October and loved it. We wore shorts everyday and at night. We also did TL, it is just a great month.

We have been in October and loved it. The weather is warm, so you can swim. We wore shorts the entire time. Never had to wear jeans or a sweatshirt. :sunny:

October is still very hot and humid at the time you're going.
We've been twice during the first half of the month.
Went once at the end of the month and it was cool. That was probably just a front that went thru.

You will definitely be able to swim because the pools are heated when the weather gets cooler.

We are going for our fourth time this October 1. Oct 04 was the hottest time we had been. Daily temps in the 90's and very humid. No need for coats blankets or other cold weather aids. Pack lots of sun screen , mister fans and plan on drinking lots of water to keep cool
:cool1:

I agree with most. We went third week Oct. 2004 adn weather was great - even for a cold natured person like me. I wore jeans at night but shorts and t-shirts during the day. Was a little chilly in the AM and PM for water rides so I rode them at mid day (again, I am always cold). Not all WDW pools are heated. we visited a friend at Contemporary and it was not heated. My daughter swam in it and the ASMusic heated pool.

great weather, no crowds. LOVED IT! Gone the last two Octobers with great success. If you do the Halloween stuff and skip the trick or treating and ride, ride, ride. Of course the little ones like the trick or treat but luckily my DD has outgrown that.

We went October 1-10th last year and it was perfect... upper 80's low 90's the whole time. We were never chilly and we swam every day!

We're headed back this year from Sept 30th-October 9th. It's a terrific time to go!

Have a great time!
