in 2009 I went to WDW for the Flower and Garden festival and while I had a blast it rained pretty hard 4 of the 8 days was there. I still had fun though, even with the rain. I would like to go back in May again in 2011 and was wondering if it rains like that every May or if that was just a fluke.
Thanks :)

It didn't this past May, in fact is was extremely hot. I had been in 2008, and it was beautiful dry and in the 80's

My sister went at the very beginning of May 2009, and had beautiful weather! No rain at all!

We went in May last year and got rain (lots of it, not just afternoon showers) every day but one. We went back this past may and got two or three small rainshowers over 9 days. The 2009 May rains were supposedly very unusual.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll book another May solo trip as soon as they open up the booking for 2011.:)

we go the first week of may every year, and have consistantly had gorgous weather (maybe a little warm for some, not me tho;)), and little if any rain.
it seems that we hear it rained quite a bit a week or so after we returned though.
of all the times of year we've gone, that first week of may has had the most perfect weather:cloud9:

2008 - GREAT MAY WEATHER. Humidity was not too bad.
2009 - SUCKED RAW EGG YOKE. Humidity near 90 each day and rain.
2010 - Humidity was medium to high, rained at times (typical Florida rain). It was not a bad trip though.

We always go the weekend after Mother's day.

We were there then too its one of our favorite times of the yr to go and I can assure you that week of rain was very much a fluke! All the yrs we have been going and have never encountered weather like that....I say you are pretty safe booking again in May...have fun!!
