Hi All
I am new to DIS Boards but have been to WDW 6 times.
We usually go May and Aug, but next year, due to work, may have to go Feb and Aug.
My question is - what will the weather be like in Feb? Will we be able to go to the water parks/use the pool? and what sort of clothing would we need?

Many thanks in advance Guys :)

Welcome to DISboards:goodvibes

We have been numerous times at both Xmas and Easter, between these times you can get any weather, we have had sunbathing weather or some Xmas' ice on the car every morning. Easter we have had great weather but also cold and windy. You just can't know until you get there.
This year was our 1st Feb trip, going on our previous winter trips we took clothes for all weathers, it was far better than we expected, around 80-85F every day, next year could be totally the opposite, no-one can know.

We normally go every 2 years in Feb half term. As Wayne said it can vary considerably. Mornings and evenings tend to be cool but by late morning we've always had good weather, maybe high 60's or low 70's and beautiful blue skies. We last went in Feb 09 and I bought jeans to wear in the evening as I was so cold. Trust it to be in the 80's the year we didn't go

Usually I wear cropped trousers, strappy t shirt and take a fleece. Each year we've done the water parks and someone usually gets burnt.

Thank you both for your help! I like it really hot but I suppose if it's Feb or nothing I will just have to make the best of it - I will be the one shivering in the bikini, determined to get a tan come rain or shine!

Been in February 4 times - great time of year for me as I don't like it too hot! We have had lovely weather - plenty hot enough for pool/waterparks etc - and we have had rain, frost etc. One thing we've had on all Feb holidays though is cool evenings. Once the sun goes down it gets very chilly. Not great if you want to see night time parades & shows.

You need to take layers - fleece probably needed first thing in the morning over t shirt & shorts. Usually warm enough for more summery clothes during the middle of the day.

February 2009 we wore t shirts and shorts with a fleece before 9am and after 6pm all week (half-term) until the saturday - on the saturday we needed jeans and anoraks all day - sooooooooooooo cold.

Well that's it I've only gone and done it - booked 2 flights for feb with m&m for under £700 so I am happy with that price. Now just got to decide whether to stay onsite with free dining or off! Yippeeeee

I've been twice in Feb .. 1998 and 2008, both times it was warm, - only wore long sleeves once ... we're going back next Feb, hoping for some good weather again

February 2009 we wore t shirts and shorts with a fleece before 9am and after 6pm all week (half-term) until the saturday - on the saturday we needed jeans and anoraks all day - sooooooooooooo cold.

We were also there Feb 2009 and found that we were having to de-ice the windscreen on the car before leaving the villa  Not something we expected to be doing. I also remember it being pretty cold on the trams from the car parks - and by that I mean the kids were hiding their faces in their jackets and wishing they had gloves too - but an hour later it was warm enough for shorts and t-shirts.
Layers is definitley the way to go in my opinion

We went the first week of feb this year- there was a cold front and we wore jeans everyday except one :( It was still good, but i'd rather go to WDW when it's warm.

Rachel :D
