WDW Half Marathon

I'm running my first half at the 500 Festival in Indianapolis this May...and looking into doing the WDW Half next January. How soon do I need to register before it's filled up?

Any tips for my FIRST half in Indy are welcome I was a runner in high school (10 years ago) and am just now getting back into running. Spent all of 2009 losing 32 lbs. and am at my goal weight. So excited about running again!

I want to say the 1/2 initially filled up in 4/09 but I think they reopened it later- more$$$$

It closes quickly. If you already know you want to do it, I would just register to be safe. You don't want to miss it!

At 50% they start posting a percent full indicator. Entry levels will jump around 10% a week once posted due to folks who were waiting for an entry. Usually, entrys will slow up again once 70-80% limit is reached then take off again once 90% is reached.

The race filled in Arpil last year (2010 race) and in early March the year prior. As a statistical point the race filled in 22 days in 2003, the fith anniversay.
