WDW gets Main St. Electrical Parade for up to 2 years!

Al Lutz is generally pretty reliable, but Disney has only officially stated that MSEP will be at WDW for the summer. Al's information at this point is only an internet rumor.

Right, so I wonder if they're referring that it will be a summer-time only show for 2 years

We'll be going May 18th to May 25th, any chance the MSEP will start a little earlier than early June? If not will Spectro still be running at that time?

I would like for us to see one night parade, MSEP looks a little more colorful so I hope it's starts early.

This is great, will get to see it in Oct 2010. To bad it won't be up for our May trip for my mother in law to see.

Which is why I booked a long weekend in July - I want to see MSEP, and while I would be happy if it was extended longer so I could see it on my September trip, I don't want to take the chance that it won't be (especially while I could get a decent discount on a room).

If it were a park that offered most things seasonally, this would make sense. But since WDW does offer their nighttime entertainment year round (albeit with reduced offerings during some months) I can't seen them cycling back and forth between MSEP and Spectro - especially since the rumors I've heard is that Spectro will be going through some refurbishment while MSEP is running. I think IF they announce it will be running for two years, then it will be the only MK night parade for that period, year round.

I was so excited when I heard that MSEP is coming back. I haven't seen it since I was a kid and I love that parade and the music, so excited !

That is so wonderful that the Main Street Parade will be in WDW. We saw it years age & it was one of our favorite things to see. We were not going to go to WDW this year but now I think we will change our minds.
Now to figure when we would like to go, fall is always our favorite time to go.
