WDW Fun Facts to Pass Along Before Trip...Help I'm Running Out!

I'm almost 100 days out to our trip to WDW and I've been calling or emailing everyone with a Disney World Fun Fact about every other day for awhile now.....BUT I'M RUNNING OUT OF FUN FACTS!
(doesn't seem possible I know! )

I've been keeping the facts related only to the WDW parks, PI, Quest, resorts, ect....not "secrets" just little things, like one fun fact was that we could get Cheesecake Factory cheesecake at Quest, or another one was about getting our packages bought in the parks delivered to our resort, that kind of thing. None of my group are all that WDW knowledgeable or anything...they were all thrilled with the Cheesecake Factory one! LOL!

I'd appreciate any other "little known" (to non-disboarders) WDW tidbits I can keep passing on....I've got 106 days to go and don't want to run out of material!

and be sure to try Beverly??

How about:

- Riding up in the front car of the monorail
- Getting Mickey to wake you up with a phone call
- Making very early PS's to Cindy's or Crystal Palace so you can be one of the only families on Main Street (before the park opens to the public)

That's all I can think of right now.....maybe more later!

The Mickey statue on top of the souvenier stand right inside the entrance is a lightning rod.

You can also have packages delievered to the park entrances (for that sad, sad, day that you are leaving the world)

If you stay at MK until park closing (about 30 minutes after fireworks) the castle gives you a "kiss" goodnight.

There is a wishing well on a small path to the right side of the castle. All of the change inside goes to the "Make a Wish Foundation". You can save all your change during your trip and throw it in at the end.

Ice cream social at Epcot.

In IASW ride, the only character not smiling throughout the entire ride is a clown in the hot air balloon. He is crying and holding a "help" sign. (Unfortunately, will still be under rehab when you go though)

Get a copy of the book "The Walt Disney World Trivia Book" by Louis Mongello. It's got a lot of great little "fun facts."

Plus, the author is a DISer.

i agree about Lou's book! and if you get it from his site, he will even sign it for you with your name and everything! you can go HERE to get it. we took it on our trip and had a great time reading it in the car and on line! lots of fun with some great secrets in there too!
