WDW for New Years!

SO SO SO EXCITED!!!!!

Only 29 days to go until we arrive! Staying at AKL, doing Epcot for New Year's Eve, and yesterday FINALLY locked up a reservation at Bistro de Paris for New Year's Eve dinner. (Seriously, they do not make it easy...couldn't do it through Disney Dining.)

I haven't been to WDW in almost 4 years since I moved to Philly from Tampa and my boyfriend hasn't been since he was a kid, which makes me even more excited to go.

Anyone else going to be around for NYE?

The Magic Kingdom does their NYE fireworks on the 30th also, kind of a test run, if you are in the area....

Yup, have that incorporated into the plans. We're arriving in the afternoon, going to the Polynesian for dinner, and then MK for fireworks.

We will be there on NYE. Although we won't be at Bistro de Paris...jealous. Have a great time!

DBF and I will be at EPCOT for NYE! I'll be settling mainly in Italy to drink and dance to awesome dance music

We will be there for NYE too! We're going to be doing MK for the New Year. Epcot on the 30th!

Get to MK before then. I worked MK NYE and the 30th last year. Park was phase closed by noon both days. Be ready for big big crowds! Have fun!

Thanks for the info. We had scheduled MK on the 30th. Are the NYE fireworks in place of the normal ones on the 30th. Or in addition? Thanks! Can't believe I am there in 5 days!!!

Both nights will go like this.

Go the MK early on the 30th, watch the fireworks (it will be shown behind the park like normal, and also in the front of the park, The HUB closes down about 8pm)

Go to Studios or EPCOT on the 31st

I loved being there for NYE a few years back. Watched MK on the 30th from the Poly and did Epcot on the 31st. But I'd never go again. LOL too many people.
