My husband regularly reminisces about the buffalo chicken sandwich he had at Cosmic Ray's on our honeymoon in 1999. We didn't return until 2007 with our first child and, of course, his beloved sandwich was long gone.

In 2007, my daughter had salmon, green beans and rice somewhere in AK that she really loved. We can't remember where it was and haven't been able to find it on subsequent trips. It was a CS place and I can see the inside of it in my head, but I haven't ever had a flash of recognition any time we've been there. Darn you, aging memory!
Are there any foods that you loved that disappeared or that you were never able to find again?
