3 nights at WDW with 2 park days. How much should I budget for WDW food? I'm buying discounted GCs to cover WDW dining, so not factoring in Cereal bars or other snacks we buy at the grocery store). 2 adults, 1 Disney child, and 1 freebie child (age 2). Here's what I'm thinking:

Day 1: TS at DS $80
Day 2: (Cereal bar before 7am rope drop)
Crystal palace breakfast (10:35) $110
QS Dinner and snacks $40
Day 3: (Cereal bar)
Garden Grill breakfast (10:20) $110
QS dinner and snacks $40
Day 4: QS breakfast all-star movies $35

Total: $415

Too low? About right? Thanks!

I usually plan exactly like this, and then go way over what I plan. The snacks and adult beverages kill us everytime.

Looks good. Don't forget to factor in (if not already) 18% tip for TS meals. Also, unless you are sharing $40 QS dinner plus snacks seems a bit low. An average meal is around $12 -$14 and kids meal is half that. Snacks average $5.
Alcoholic drinks $8 and up. I would probably budget another $100 or so for any extras that may arise like maybe a light lunch between breakfast and dinner if needed. Have a great time.

I was planning on sharing QS and TS (kids split with me or share a kid's meal), but that $40 probably is low since DH will probably want a beer at Epcot and first night, and kids will likely want another round of snacks. I'll make it an even $500 in gift cards just in case.

Maybe I'm overdoing it but I actually did a spreadsheet. We are having breakfast in the room (except for a "splurge" on our last day), one TS per day (usually lunch) and QS or lounge for dinner. Then I looked at the menus and figured out what we would be ordering and how much it's going to cost us. Doing it this way we realized that we would need about $100 cash (plus tips) over and above the $300 in Disney Gift cards we purchased using Swagbucks. HTH!

I use the disney dining calculator before each trip. Works great! Hope it is okay to post the link here. It calculates whether the dining plan is worth it or not but I just use to it get an idea of my out of pocket food budget.

Thavks for sharing this! Puts me at $484 not counting booze (but overestimating snacks), so $500 should be about right.
