Hi! I am hoping someone can help. I am in between two possible resorts for my November trip: POLY or AKL. I would prefer POLY since we are going for a wedding in The Wedding Pavilion and GF! But I can save some DVC points if I can switch to AKL. So what can help me decide is the distance of the fitness centers... lol. My bf has to get to the gym at 5am every day so I think both are 24/7 but the POLY has to use the GF's

- so how far is the walk from the grand ceremonial house in POLY to the GF's Fitness Center?
- how far is the walk from Kidani Village to Jambo House?

Thanks so much!

It is also about 10 minutes from the Poly to GF's fitness center.

The fitness center at Kidani is in a separate building outside the front entrance, near the pool.

I actually love the early am walk from Poly to GF for the fitness center. It is a very peaceful and relaxing walk post workout too, especially when the sun is coming up.

I go to the gym 5-6 days a week and eat pretty healthy most days besides one meal a week. With that said when I’m at Disney on vacation, the only lifting I do is fork to mouth and my cardio consist of walking an estimate of several miles a day from one attraction to the next eating spot...

This, like times a bazillion. I strength train up to 85% intensity 3 times/week, do high intensity cardio 3-4 times per week, and eat a ridiculously clean diet (due to an autoimmune condition). ***But***, what happens in Disney World, stays in Disney World. The skullcrushers and intervals will be there waiting when I get home.

AKL has a nice fitness center I always say I am going to use but don't!
