WDW Fishing Excursions?

O.k, we are going May 19-24th and my son and husband would love to do a fishing excursion while there.
Anyone done this? What's your opinions? Is it worth $125 per person?
I do know it is a catch and release and that's ok with us.

I bought a trip for my husband a couple of years ago and he LOVED it. My recollection is that it was charged at about $200 per boat and not per person. We were the only people booked that day, so my husband got a one-on-one lesson in bass fishing.

The boats are $250 for up to 5 people - that $125 per person is wrong. I saw that same info listed somewhere (either here or on AllEars) but it is incorrect.

You can book up to 90 days ahead by calling 407-WDW-BASS or e-mail www.disneyworldfishing.com and fill out a reservation form.
If you have the 2008 Birnbaum guide there is a 20% off coupon in the back.

My husband and youngest son (14) love to fish. They went this past September and loved it! They had a good time and got lots of great tips. It was worth the money for us.

Firstimer03, you could see if anyone wants to share the boat with you by posting here. That could bring the price down for everyone.

I believe you can have up to 4 people on an excursion. It may get crowded though.

I do believe that we will go ahead and book an excursion.
We've never done one before and it sounds like a blast.
