>Did you know that Disney World recycles all the human waste from the parks and hotels.... It's true, the solid and liquids are seperated and the solids are used as fertilizer on the tree farm, where all the trees for the parks are grown. The liquids are then cleaned naturally by growing hydrangas in them and then the water is sent off to the sprinkler system. When you look around, you'll see little signs that say "THIS IS NOT DRINKING WATER!" Now you know what they really mean by that!
**It's weird to think that your poo is fertilizing a tree at WDW..
Kind of comforting (in a VERY weird way) to know that a part of you will always be at WDW.**
>If you were to wash and dry one load of laundry every day for 44 years, you'd clean as much as the folks at the Walt Disney World Laundry do in a single day. The cast members there launder an average of 240,000 pounds each day. In addition, between 30,000 and 32,000 garments are dry-cleaned daily.
>The Monorail was the fastest ride in Disney until Test Track was installed in Epcot.The monorail's top speed is 55 mph, however they cruise at 40 mph.
>Since 1971, the total miles logged by Walt Disney World monorail trains would be equal to more than 30 round trips to the moon. One dozen new cars were put into service along the 14-mile beamway in 1990 as the original fleet received a well-deserved retirement.
>Some of the coins in the fountains are permanently affixed to form hidden Mickeys
