WDW Express Monorail down

As of 6pm 5/19/16 Monorail Green appears to be stopped and unoccupied in the MK station. There is a Sheriff's Deputy standing with it and all guests are being directed to the resort monorail. No express monorails are running. Cast members are claiming a "computer issue", however it doesn't appear to be in the process of repair. The only person near it seems to be the Deputy. Looks more like a crime scene than a disabled attraction.

If so, let's hope it's more like a "potential" crime scene, such as a phony bomb threat or an "unattended" bag.

Looks like they got it moving in the opposite direction toward the shop. Hope it was just mechanical and all guests are safe.

Express Monorail has been scheduled to be down from 11:30am - 6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays for months. A deputy might take a look before resuming operation just to be safe. All of the area theme parks are taking guest safety seriously.

Deputies have been posted from time to time on the platforms since the Paris bombing in November. If he was just standing there (and more than likely leaning on a railing) he wasn't there for a train issue and was just at his post. Also as stated above the express beam does close from 11:30-6:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday's for new systems testing. I didn't hear any thing about any trains having any form of an issue today, it was more than likely still under systems testing and was running in reverse (this is common). Seeing as your post was just after 6pm, I'm gonna assume that's the case and the trains weren't back under guest operations yet.
