Hi guys! :wave2:

I'm going to DLRP for the first time this year from 2nd December until 6th (2 travelling days, which leaves tue-thurs complete park days :thumbsup2).

I know WDW inside out, but have NO clue about DLRP :rotfl:

I am going with my granny Maggie (who is 62 and the youngest acting grandmother I have ever laid eyes on- she has bright red hair, is up for anything and just all over a wonderful person!). She has been twice but years ago and can hardly remember it so she is basically a newbie too!

We are staying at the Santa Fe and we will be going to both parks.

So... long story short... I am looking for tips on what to do, when to do it, where to eat (we want to do a dinner at Planet Hollywood and maybe one or two other table service restuarants, but we also love counter service food so we are happy to do both so all suggestions are welcome!), best souvenirs to buy (I am bringing a full suitcase with minimal clothing so I can bring home lots of souvenirs and may even do Xmas shopping if I see anything that someone would like, so all souvenir recommendations are welcome!!) and any other advice/tips you may have!

So, if you are still reading after my rambling (sorry!), then any replies would be amazing! :worship:

Thanks so much in advance!!! :)

Hi :wave2: you're going to love all the Christmas decorations :santa: there's a Christmas shop inside the castle, if I lose my DH I know that's where I'll find him! :lmao:

I'm not so keen on counter service at DLP apart from Toad Hall which does nice fish and chips, my favourite restaurants are Walt's on Main St, Blue Lagoon inside Pirates, and Inventions in the Disneyland Hotel which does a great character buffet dinner.

Congratulations on your trip :goodvibes

I'm another Walts lover and we always have a meal there. Annette's in the Village and Rainforest Cafe have become regulars for us too.

Counter service - our fav is Earl of Sandwich in the Village - so tasty :thumbsup2

If you want character dining, you can do this at Cafe Mickey in the village - Inventions at the DLH offers a buffett too.

Hope you have a lovely time :goodvibes
