WDW Electric Scooter Rental Questions

We will be staying at VWL in May .
One of our celebrations is to celebrate my DH's recovery from what could have been a fatal health crisis in December but I am now realizing that the walking around WDW may be too much for him. The answer to this may be renting an electric scooter (who knows if DH will agree to this or not). Does anyone know how to go about this for each park, can I reserve one in advance, and how much a weekly/dialy rental would cost?

You can't reserve the WDW ones in advance BUT there are a few companies you can rent weekly from and they'll deliver it to your resort! I'll get HotRod to post who she gets hers from.

You can get them at the stoller/wheelchair centers at the front of each park and pay by the day.

You can also rent them from private companies by the day, week, etc and they will drop it off at your location of choice and same for pick up when it is no longer needed. My father needs use of these and we normally have it dropped off at the resort on the day of our arrival and have them pick it up just before departing. There are several companies and types of ECV (electric chair vehicle) that offer these services. I dont know any off the top of my head but a google search for "ecv rental orlando, fl" should help you find what you are looking for...
