What are the best deals that are usually offered to Canadians for WDW?

What time of year do the best deals usually come along?

I remember something through CAA a couple of years ago that was at par and included the dining plan...

I'm hoping to take advantage of these deals in the future, help me!! What is best to "hold out" for? Thanks!!

Usually in the Fall and Spring. We went several years ago when the tickets were buy one get one free. Loved that deal!

Was this deal directly through Disney? How did you find out about it??

I think with the strength of our dollar, a lot of those deals will be gone. The last several years there has been some type of Canadian deal, usually released in the fall for travel in the spring. Nothing this year. You can always use CAA for discounts and watch for general public deals like the one now for the upgraded park tickets. Other than that, I wouldn't be too hopeful for specific Canadian deals.

We're so close to "At Par" it would cost Disney money to offer such a deal! "Deals" are getting smaller and smaller lately, tourism and visitors to Disney is waaaaaaaaay up, so there's no incentive to attract guests and fill the rooms.

Personally, I plan to go during Value season and if a code or discount comes out, that's great.

The deal currently offered is to the general public--buy a Magic Your Way package and get the Park Hopper and Water Parks and More options added for free. It is not a huge deal but it saved our family around $300.

I saw this promotion on this board at Dreams Unlimited but does that also mean it is being offerred by Disney directly? Where do I go to get this special promotion on tickets. I usually book hotel and tickets together and direct from Disney...any other suggestions?

It is directly listed on the Disneyworld home page. It is to the right of the page, under Magical Vacations, packages and offers. There is a code but I'm not sure what it is anymore. It is listed here on the disboards somewhere and it is also on mousesavers.com. It is for travel until early June.

This deal is being offered by every travel agent who books Disney and you can also get it by booking with Disney directly.
