WDW/DCL Western Caribbean Honeymoon Extravaganza!! DONE!!! - PG 51!!

Great post! Loved the view you had for the show! The best place we have ever seen it was from the boat ride you can book. That was really neat. We got on the boat over at the Boardwalk and it returned us there, so we had to walk bak to Epcot and thur it to get back to the Wilderness Lodge. It was so neat being like the only ones in the park. We got some fantastic pics that year of the park.. Totally enjoying your trip report. We also went to disney on our honeymoon, 25 years ago and we just pulled out our pictures from the trip. Wow how things have changed!

I haven't commented since your beautiful wedding a few pages back, but I'm just LOVING this report every night. And how fun is this latest, going barefoot the long way around Epcot, drunk omg:rotfl::rotfl:, I got such a laugh out of that. You are so funny and adorable!!
And the best part about this, is that you haven't even gotten on the cruise yet.:) I cannot WAIT for that! We've done the Wonder and Magic, so just can't wait for your pics and story. You rock for doing this for us, really. Lovin every minute of it.

Really glad you got your outside seats for the firworks. It's looks like you were drinking and English Rose, although they never had them in a souvenier glass when I was there.

Epcot practically all to yourself, after THE BEST seats in the house for the ( I totally agree) best show, barefoot and tipsy and taking the long way out, stretching that wonderful evening to very last moment. (sigh) :cloud9:
just doesn't get any better...

Great pics.

That drink looks good.

I'm not a drinker. But I do enjoy my cosmo or white wine. Did it taste a bit like that?

I would love to do the Illuminations cruise! That'll have to be for our anniversary!

SOOOO glad you are enjoying my TR!!! I really don't want to disappoint anyone so I feel like I have to say inadvance that I think we were way more fun in the parks than we were on the cruise. We hit a few snags on the cruise but I promise I will try to make it as interesting as the WDW part of the TR.

Enjoying your report.......

Thanks for sharing

Yes, I think that's it! The souvenier cup was optional.

It certainly doesn't! :thumbsup2

Umm, it def didn't taste like wine and cosmos I think are WAY stronger. This was just your average fruity drinky drink but STRONG!

You play EPCOT music when the kids come in in the morning???? :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think I need to move to the north end of town so my kids can go to school with YOU!

OH yeah! The best is when the kids come back from a vaca at disney and they say, "They were playing that music we hear in the mornings!" :lmao:

I just spent the entire morning and part of the afternoon reading your wonderful trip report.:thumbsup2 You have a great writing style & have kept me :rotfl2:entertained all day. You were such a beautiful bride & your dress was gorgeous.

Like you, I will really miss the AC, we were there for the last night on our Sept 08 trip.:sad2:I wish they would bring it and the Comedy Warehouse back, we've had some fun times at both places.

I can't wait to read about your cruise, we're thinking about one for next year.

I think it is awesome you play Epcot music for the kids!!

I was trapped in that very same spot in Germany during a rainstorm on our trip!

I have always wanted to try the Rose & Crown for Illuminations (no guarentees) and your pictures really motivated me!!

I'm SO glad you are enjoying the TR!!! Thank you for the compliments! The cruise portion will be....interesting...

You should definitely try it! Because even if you DON'T get patio seating, they do invite inside diners to go outside and watch. :thumbsup2 And the food was delicious!

LOL! :rotfl:

As in:

"Is that girl you set me up with pretty?"

"Well, she has an INTERESTING face..."

Can't wait for the rest... popcorn::

HAHAHAHHA

Yes, EXACTLY like that.... ;) Using the pretty face analogy it's like, the parks were Angelina Jolie and the cruise was Jennifer Aniston. Still pretty...but just can't compare.

Day 5 - July 23, 2009
DHS and lunch at Sci-Fi

Tom slept in a little this morning so I decided it was a good time to do some laundry. This was the first time I ever did laundry on vacation but it was pretty easy, aside from the fact that the vending machine stole my $$ the first time I tried to buy detergent.

I also took this opportunity to enjoy (and take pics of) the view from the Poly beach. Also, not being in a rush to go anywhere, I was really able to appreciate the attention to detail put into the atmosphere of the Poly. I even saw people working on various things throughout the resort. Some men were painting lamp posts, other people were discussing the plants, etc. It was really nice to see. Good job, Disney! :thumbsup2

This condensation was KILLING ME!! Epecially on the cruise. It was nearly impossible to take pictures of things without waiting a few minutes for the camera to get used to the humidity and temperature change from the air conditioned room to the HOT outside!

Now, that's better.

Really, the only reason we were going back to DHS was because we had and ADR for Sci-Fi AND had planned to meet with Christy (PopArtGal) at 3. So after a relaxing morning, we were on our way to DHS by around 11.

The first thing we did was go and get a FP for TOT since we hadn't ridden that yet and it's one of my favorite rides.

I have this problem where I like to recreate things that were nice memories from a previous trip. Well, I have this memory of getting a pretzel and frozen lemonade from Min and Bill's Dockside Inn, so, since I was getting hungry, I decided that's what I wanted!

Only problem was, Min and Bill's no longer SOLD pretzels and frozen lemonade! :confused3 That made me a little upset and when I get that way, instead of looking for another place that sells what I'm looking for I get mad and say, "Just forget it!"

So Tom wanted to look in the Indiana Jones store and I went and had a seat by the lake (same deal with Once Upon a Toy...you know). So what do you know but not 5 minutes later, here comes Tom, with a frozen lemonade and a pretzel!! YAY!!!

We still hadn't ridden Star Tour, which is one of Tom's favorites, so we walked over that way and the line was only about 15 minutes...but we still had our drink. We hung around for a few minutes to finish up our drink before getting on line...
ry%3D480

Well, JUST as we were ready to get in line, Jedi Training AND the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular let out and it seemed like EVERYONE was getting in line.....so we decided to skip it. :sad2:

We walked back over to the "hat" and decided to ride the Great Movie Ride. It was getting pretty hot that day we we slowly strolled over to TOT to wait for our FP time. We waited for a few minutes and finally our time came up and as we walked up, there was NO ONE in the standby line! (Although the wait time said 20 mins) We could've just gone that way! It's so random though, you just never know when there's going to be a spurt of people, like at Star Tours, so I thought about going again in the standby line but it would've been just our luck that by then the line was an hour long!! We got a GREAT random elevator on our ride so we were satisfied with TOT and decided to see if we could get into Sci-Fi early.
ry%3D400

As luck would have it, as we walked over to Sci-Fi we saw a Photopass photographer by the Speederbike!! Now, if we couldn't ride Star Tours, some nice photopass pics with the speeder bike was a nice substitute!

It was around 2 and our ADR was for 3:30. It seemed like they were taking walk ups so we went in, told them we had an ADR for 3:30 but would like to eat now, if that was ok. Well, we waited about 10 mins and then were seated in the back of a car.

We both got burgers so I feel like I only need to show you one picture!

At the end of our meal, we got a "celebration" card signed by our carhop and, I guess, other people that worked there wishing us congratulation on our wedding. That was nice!

After lunch, it was still a little early for our "meet" so we just kind of hung around. I was looking just for Christy (PopArtGal) because she was the only one who I knew for sure was going to be there! Around 3, I walked over and saw a suspicious blonde sitting by herself. I figured she was a DISer just as she called, "Nikki?" It was Stephanie (Born 2B a Princess). Soon after, Christy showed up. We chatted for a few minutes and it was very nice meeting you both!!!
ry%3D480

By then, we were so ready to leave our park #4 and head over to park #1!!

Up Next: Relaxing at Epcot....again

Thanks for another update. That hidden Mickey in the onion rings is so funny!

Keep the updates coming, i've got less than 4 weeks to go now. :cool1:

As you exited the park that day, so were we.

I pointed at your ears, but my mom didn't see you :)

We were only a few people behind you.

We stopped to grab a coke, and by the time we got to the bus stop, you were gone. We waited a long time for a bus :)

That's funny! We took the bus from DHS right to Epcot!
