Hmm, I'm not really sure what you mean. I know that I couldnt' have a catholic wedding in Disney but that's a catholic church rule, not disney. I have no idea how they handle weddings of different religions or if it's just the legal ceremony.

We had to get married in New Jersey! That was just one of the reasons why we decided against having our wedding in WDW.

I haven't updated in a while!!

Today is exactly 7 weeks until the trip begins! I've already started having "the unprepared dreams." You know the ones where you have to leave for the airport but you're not packed yet? Things like that. I always wake up in a panic. That's what you get for being an obsessive over-planner, I guess.

I have exactly 3 full weeks of school left and then 2 half days. Once school is out, I want to get started on the rest of those snowglobes for centerpieces and programs. We still need to contact the organist and pick songs for the ceremony. Haven't heard from the DJ yet but if I don't hear from him by next week, I'm going to give him a call so we can get our song selections for the reception.

I did hear from the photographer and I, as the obsessive planner, gave them detailed directions to each location they need to go to that day, including a map of the area when I want to do our bridal party pictures.

We're going for a cake tasting on Wednesday so that'll be good. And we made our appointment for our marriage license at the end of June.

Let's see, what else...one of my college friends is getting married this weekend and I can't believe it's here already. We got engaged within a week of each other (almost 2 years ago) and we've been counting down together. Her wedding being here makes mine seem so close now!! Other than the money that I've spent on this wedding and am going to spend this weekend (I'm in the wedding AND it's on Block Island $$$) I'm super excited!

I have "classes" until june 19. The students are officially out on June 23. Then June 24 is a holiday here. And we finish on June 30. I am there with you.

I can't believe you have to go all those days after the students are done! We finish the same day the students do which is also June 23rd for us. What do you do all those days?

Hi Sweetie!!! Less than 2 weeks and school is OUT!!!!! Soooooooooo glad, but I bet YOU are even MORE excited!!! I thought of you twice this week- once, when I got my 1st day D23 pin, and then again yesterday when I booked Mary Poppins with the D23 code for June 24th- I'm going with my friend Joan, we are very, VERY excited!!! The seats are amazing- 5th row, dead center orchestra.

Yes, I am super excited about school being out. There are so many little things that have been milestones toward the wedding/trip and that is definitely one of them.

Don't you LOVE that D23 pin?? I was so surprised and happy to get it! I am not really a pin collector but I ordered 2 from disneyshopping that were on backorder just to have SOMETHING that was an original D23 pin. I cancelled them as soon as this one came in the mail!

OUrs is worse. The kids get out the 17th... we end the 26th! How much does that stink!? All I want is my disneymoon!!

Definitely!! I told DFi yesterday, after he had a margarita, that I wanted to meet up with some Disboard friends. I didn't know if he would go for it. First he was like, "On our honeymoon??" So I said, "Well another couple will be on their honeymoon too and she's a teacher and another girl is a teacher and she already gave me her phone number....." So then he was all about it!!! Maybe we can meet up at Jellyrolls one night.

Christy, how does that sound to you?

If not, we can share our tentative daytime plans too and see if we'll be in the same parks at the same time to meet for a drink/ride/chat.

I feel so bad that I'm slacking so much with this PTR! Unfortunately, my desktop computer has been out of commission for about a month now and we've finally found someone who (we hope) can fix it! Then I'll be able to upload pictures, which you know I LOVE to add to TRs! We even got a new awesome camera and I haven't been able to upload any pics I've taken with it yet!! INCLUDING, pictures of my favorite restaurant (which I've spoken about before) Jose Tejas! It's so Disney-like, I can't wait to show you all pics.

SOooooo, yesterday was my bridal shower. It was not a surprise, which I was happy about. It was very strange to have all the people you know from different places all together at once.

I received a grand total of $1230 on my Disney Honeymoon Registry!! There was $950 when my package was due so I put that toward the room. Since then I received more so I have $280 left on that to take to Disney. On top of that, I received $250 Disney Dollars, a $200 Disney gift card and $150 total from various people who specifically said in the card to use the money for Disney...


So that brings my Disney money gifts to a grand total of.....

$1830!!!!!

I really can't believe it!! I never expected that DHR would be so successful! I though I'd get a couple hundred, maybe. I know that a lot of people like to give an actual gift but I was so happy that people really did use that as their primary gift. My peeps know me well!!!

Other than that, the shower was good, complete with an actual shower which kind of put a damper on things. It started raining as I was opening presents so I flew through them (which was nice) and everyone went inside my mother's tiny house that is not meant to hold 50 people!

The food was awesome! My mom ordered from Shop-Rite and they do a great job. We had some sandwiches and some hot dishes. My favorite part was the soft pretzel tray from the Philly Pretzel Factory! If you have one near you, you HAVE to order from this place. It is sooo good! Unfortunately, not only do I not have my desktop to upload pics, I forgot to bring my camera, otherwise I defintely would have taken a picture of this pretzel tray to show you all!

I got almost all of the gifts I registered for....and then some! Remember the red toast oven debacle? Oh, it was there and it was HUGE! I got a lot of cake decorating supplies, which I decided is going to be my new project. I got on this kick of making chocolates from parties and I decided I'd be really good at cake decorating so I registered for a lot of that stuff. I also got lots of little gadgets. I LOVE things that are useful...if it's not useful, I don't want it. Unlike Tom, who has a room full of action figures and statues....but that's a different story. There were a few things that I'm going to take back but overall, I was very happy with the gifts received. Between the rain and my niece needing attention, I'm not sure my sister wrote down all of the gifts and the cards got all mixed up so some peope may be getting a generic, "Thank you for your gift" card.

AS SOON as someone send me some pictures from the day, I will be sure to post them!

Five weeks from today I will be landing at MCO and on my way to the Poly!!!
