Wdw Confessionals!!

bless me Dis board for I have sinned....
We have taken every Towel Animal (which I believe was gifted to us) home.
Also taken all the extra shampoos & soaps!
Had a childs menu for my 11 yr old who eats like a 5 year old.
Oh and the WORST sin of all...We have used FP after the official designated time!

oooooooooooooh what will the penance be?

Oh, I have some other ones (man, I really AM a sinner!)

I ordered a kids menu at Columbia Harbour House for myself. (and it wasn't good! poor kids that have to survive on that mac and cheese!)

I bring snacks and water with me IN the parks, whenever I'm at Disney (DL, DLP and WDW)

At DL, on the Indy ride, I have climbed over the rope between the exit and entrance "walk". When you get off the ride, and walk the 10 miles, part of it goes next to the queue. Well, it was 2 minutes after midnight, so the ride was closed, and I climbed over the rope to go on the ride just that one more time, as the last person for that day!!!

ETA: at DLP, I lied to get in for the Lion King show. You need tickets to see that show (they are handed out for free, but you have to stand in line to get them, which I didn't do) OR you need to eat at the restaurant that is at the Videopolis theater.
I lied to the CM, I said my dad and borthers were waiting for us with food somewhere at a table of the restaurant. That's how my mom and I got in...

Also at DLP, at the Santa Fe hotel, I made friends with a CM at the "bagagerie" (where you drop off your luggage before checking in/ after checking out. He always puts the Disney Express tags on our suitcases, for free (which means our suitcases are being brought to the train station, and we don't have to return to the hotel, pick them up, and carry them ourselves to the train station)

I do bring him Belgian chocolates though, every time we go, and we also send him a Christmas card + present.
He also keeps his CM only pins for me. He's so nice!!

- My DH takes all the soaps home. We have a drawer full of them.
- I use my cell phone every time I am on its a small world - I call my mom and just let the song play. She calls me not so nice names, but it is hysterical.
- We have video taped most of the rides at both DL and WDW.
- I wore the birthday button the whole week of my trip.

I always take the soaps and shampoos if I haven't used them (from all hotels) :rotfl: I always thought that everyone did that!

I think my sister didn't want to take them home, and she told her daughter that you're not supposed to, and like all kids, she loves to point out that an adult is wrong! :rotfl2:

We visited the same resort twice in less than 12 months so we re-used our mug. Usually we buy new ones but we figured correctly that they would be still would be selling the same ones. Usually we buy a new mug because they are different and we collect them.

When eating at counter service places one of us always goes and gets a table for us while the other orders. I don't think this is wrong, but I have read otherwise here.

We have taken towel animals home. I can't see how they don't expect you to do this. In fact one of them was made from a hand towel that looked like it was going to be thrown away anyway.

We have used expired Fats Passes to get on rides in the evening. They have always taken them. :confused3

At Counter Service restaurants, I usually take the kids and stake out a table while KAMommy goes to order the food.

Before parades, I will sit in a spot to guard it while everyone else in the group does whatever (shop, ride the rides, etc.) I sit and read.

We ALWAYS take the soaps and shampoos from the resort. We use them when one of us has to take a business trip.

We record most shows (and some of the rides)...

I sometimes take my pocket knife into the park with me.

My biggest sin... We took the "Behind the Seeds" tour. They have a part of the tour where you can sample cucumbers (and whatever else happens to be ripe). I took a WHOLE CUCUMBER (intended for the next tour?) with me when we left that part of the tour. Man, that was GOOD eatin'. AND, I used my pocket knife to slice it up.

Ok...I don't understand this one at all. We've never done the dining package, so can someone explain this to me?

The guest orders one-day tickets for everyone as part of the dining package and then adds a phantom child to his reservation. He would pay the price of a one-day children's ticket (which would go to waste) and then get that "child"'s dining credits added to their room key to use. Once at WDW the guest upgrades the other one-days to the length they desire (even an AP) and he now has extra dining credits for the price of a child's ticket and any additional daily costs if the Dining Plan is not free.

Ooh! You reminded me of another one! My family has clogged up the line of counter service restaurants by all standing in line together. :rotfl:

We've done the holding tables thing - I don't consider this sinful in any way. :teeth:

I've taken my children out of school for every Disney trip we've ever been on. ( Five since 2001)

We've used the resort monorail when we were not staying onsite.

I'm definitely going to use some of these on our next trip....

Getting kid's meals for me

Using the already expired fastpass thing :woohoo:

Birthday buttons all week - hey we really are celebrating birthdays. Who says it has to be for only a day?

Is anybody else reading these and thinking "what a good idea!" ?????????? I know I shouldn't be, but I am really starting to think about some of these "ideas"!!!!!

Is lusting (in my heart) for Jasmine a sin?
If so....add this to my other sinful ways! :teeth:

It's not WDW, but the cruise. I took a shell from Castaway Cay. I know you aren't supposed to, but it was so beautiful. If it makes you feel any better, I do feel guilty everytime I look at it.

Interesting stuff!!

Let's see..... I think little DS snuck in after 3yo as under 3

We did take one really cute towel animal

We've parked at Poly to get monorail to MK

I've brought my own straws into AK because I really like straws!

I *think* that's all!

:sunny:

This past spring break I let my friend and her family (5 in her family, same as in mine) use our mugs from POR that we got a year ago. She was very appreciative.

Nah, Jasmine's cool, but Ariel is more my type.

Now, if you felt the same way towards Genie, that would be different. :teeth:

I've used my wife and stepson's tickets to get fastpasses for myself since they don't do most of the fastpass attractions.

And come July - I'm gonna do it again!!!

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! :smokin:

We do this too. My son (he's 11) and I will take all four tickets, and ride Fast-Pass back-to-back (and usually a Stand-By too).

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with it. My wife and stepson paid to get into the park. I'm sure it would be frowned upon, but I won't say anything. :)

When I went solo in January, I thought about taking my wife's AP and trying it that way, but I would assume if the ticket hasn't been used for entry to the park, it wouldn't work in the fastpass machine. I didn't have the guts to find out.
