I think you might be getting worried about nothing, since you can now make FP way in advance this is where you want to get the big rides in , this makes space for the smaller rides, that at RD have no line what so ever this is when you want to hit them up unless there are bigger rides to get done I will be attending the 1st night of MVMCP so I will have the run down of whats going on there, as far as US that is a foreign place to me so I can give you nothing at all useful there

I do believe they are offering free dining during the time you will be there, if you don't already have it, you might want to research it

Yep they sure are and we got it we are staying at Pop but decided to upgrade to the regular dining plan. For only $20 a day we are still going to come out in front.

So I've booked an off-site condo for Nov. 8 to 15th, So far it's looking like another solo trip. I haven't booked air yet but I leaning to be in WDW from the 8th to the 20th. Once I'm on my regular computer I'll try and list all our commando fall dates so we can have aDIS meeting

Slightly disappointed with the park hours for the end of this week

Friday latest park is MK till 12

Sat latest park is MK till 11, we will most likely do Fantasmic at HS, so it looks like a early night, I would love to see a few more hours added, but it doesn't look good

Sunday MK has EMH till 2am but we have to leave around 6ish for our flight home

In our 2.5 days we will have approx 36 park hours, after eating and transportation it will be more like 24-28 hours, I'm pretty sure we can get everything we have planned done, but it's going to be close

Looks Good, I guess I will have to start making our ADR's & FP+s when we get back from this trip, another 12hrs and I'm on the job, I could do this all day everyday and twice on Sunday

Back from our weekend at WDW, it didn't go quite as planned but not due to planning but due to Mother Nature, all 3 days we had rain during sometime of the day, we didn't get to see the Star Wars parade it got rained out but we were there, this was also the case for Flights of Wonder and a few of the rides

But all in all we got most of the plan done

A few things I was disappointed in was The Star Wars Breakfast, yes you got some really good interaction with some characters but the food portion was tiny, If you ever do it remember you are paying for the interaction not the food, also the 7 Dwarfs mine train, make sure you have a fast pass or get on it first thing, the average time was at least 100 mins, it was cool but not worth it if you had to wait that long, our 1st day we did get fast passes in 3 different parks

One thing we did do was try to get our FP+ rides done ahead of time most of the time we showed up blue instead of green and they let us go ahead (we would be 5-10mins early) we only had one that told us to come back in 4mins

Shula's was awesome as usual and Kona's was good but the wall around the waterfall was kind of depressing since it is being eliminated

You couldn't ask for a better group then we were with they were Commando all the way And there will be a future trip with them and maybe a few other families from my son's school for either easter vacation or during next summer

Now we have 39 days till our next WDW trip, I still have to make a few ADR's, FP+s and book our hotel, I wonder what I bookg, but I plan to have it all done by the end of the weekend

Glad to hear you had a good trip. I think we should plan Sunday Nov 9 for some kind of Commando dis meet , I think I saw at least 4 of us(+ family) will be there that day. it'll be my first day at the parks so I'm flexible for wherever you all want to meet at.

I have less than 30 days before I start making our FP selections. Still trying to follow the boards to see what the best plan of attack is. We are going in mid-September, so not sure how commando to approach this season. We are park hopping. We are rope droppers. Now, when should we get FPs? After lunch at Park 1, or for the evening at Park 2? Looks like I'm reading a couple different approaches. My concern is if we don't make the FPs for Park 2 in the evening, not much will be available once we get there after a mid-day break.

Thoughts? TIA.

When we used to go in September, crowd levels were amazingly low while the afternoon temps were really hot. I would try to schedule my FPs for the afternoon, so you can keep out of the sun without standing. If you use them all, there is still a chance you could get more for the evening. I guess it depends on which park you are starting and what time you plan on hopping.
