WDW Commando Club

I am loving this thread. I showed it to DBF and said "See, I am not the only one." He got a kick out of it. He and I are off to WDW for his first time. Without the kids. :) I have all our ADRs. I have two spreadsheets, one for our trip and the other for F&W booths and strategy. I have never been to F&W and am sooo excited. We will only be there for the last two days of F&W--the last Sat. and Sun, Nov. 12-13--so strategy is key.;) It has been three years since I went with my kids and I forgot just how "comando" I can be. I am enjoying every minute of it though.:rotfl:

:welcome: You are member #179:cool1: I love the F&W:banana: Always get to use snack credits on food you would not normally try or buy:woohoo:
What artist is doing a concert while you are there:confused3

I told my wife tonite that our trip in June, I am coming up with a plan to challenge myself, I added some:eek: things like mini golf, a outside dinner show, 2 days in other than WDW parks, not staying onsite, no EMH's (16hrs lost right there:scared1:) , plus no dining plan:scared1:

It's not the norm, but I want to see if I can pull it off (keeps things interesting:cool1:)

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. I hear he is good. I don't think we will make it though. Maybe Sunday. Our plan is to do F&W for lunch (using snack credits :thumbsup2 ) and do signature dinners at night. One of my goals this trip is to spend more time in WS and really take in all that each country has to offer....that is, after we make RD, hit the headliners and grab some fast passes. There I go again....going comando....I guess some things never change. I love it though!:cool1:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN Hope that everyone has a great Halloween!! I had Muttley chasing DS7 around the house this morning, as he viewed his dinosaur costume as a giant chew toy and kept trying to chew on his tail. So tonight is looking to be alot of fun. Have a great day!

Trish

:welcome: You are member #178:cool1: DH holds the key on ever going again:rolleyes1, This calls for something special, something that only Daddy can do:confused3 maybe a Father & Son haircut at The Harmony Barbershop (depending on how much hair they both have:confused3), Even if your DS is not ready for a haircut, DH could take your DD in to get some Mickey Dust in her hair:cool1:

It's little things like this that can lead to many trips:woohoo:

How much is it for the Mickey Dust in a girls hair?

I saved the receipt from the Barber shop just in case this ? came up:cool1:

I'm pretty sure (but not positive) that boy or girl is the same price:confused3 It is listed on the receipt as Color Gel and it was $7.50:cool1: a real bargin from what I heard compared to BBB:rolleyes1

If the kids get it done and if you want to get a haircut while the kids are getting done up, a adult cut is $19:woohoo:

They accept cash or CC, if you pay by CC it does not have a tip line, so any tipping is strictly cash:goodvibes

Thanks for the info. I had a cut their 13 years ago, when we went on our 5th anniversary. It's first come first serve right?

You can walk up or call for a ressie at 407-939-7946, if you make a ressie you will need a CC to hold it, but you will be taken before everyone else, at your time:yay:

Since our June trip will be off site, I always want to fill my day so I'm thinking of a Dinner show, we have already seen Medieval Times in NJ, but the other choices are

- Arabian Nights
- Merry Mystery Dinner Adventure
- Pirate's Dinner Adventure

Has anyone been to any of these, any input will be helpful:confused3

I just saw Arabian Nights in July and was very disappointed, it wasn't anything like I had expected and the food was terrible.
:scared1::scared1:

Thanks:thumbsup2. Found out that DW bought some hair glitter awhile back. She got it because she was not sure how much the service cost in the park.

Just throwing this out there if anyone is interested:confused3

I just made plans to be at The Philly Zoo on Black Friday (Nov 25) This is a great day to go to the zoo since most are out shopping:woohoo:

I will be bringing a family from down the street with me, if any Commandos would like to go and meet up, think it will be a good time, just let me know:confused3

:welcome: You are member #180:cool1: Thanks for your input, Holding a zoo membership I was concerned about the smell at this venue for this time of year:confused3, but it looks like it does not meet up to par all the way around:confused3

We leave in 3 days. Have all my print outs, schedules, checked weather, got touring plans. There is still a lot I can do. Don't know if my Comando spirit will quit until we get in the car. we are driving. We are going to the Festival of Masters at DTD on Friday, and then hitting the F&W Sat. and Sun. I have never seen these or the Christmas decorations. Looking forward to all of it, and of course all my old favorites (which is everything:rotfl:). If anyone has any last words, I am listening. Thanks all for your great tips and camaraderie.:woohoo::yay::goodvibes

AWESOME:woohoo: Wish I was going, this is a week that I can sometimes be found at WDW.

Until Sunday it might be alittle crowded (since we are currently in Jersey Week:eek:) but from what I hear the parks will really thin out after Sunday:woohoo:

Enjoy all the food at the F&W feast and I hope they got alot of the Christmas Decorations up (everyday you will see more added, they do it after the parks close:yay:)

Have A GREAT Trip
