WDW Commando Club

Yah, I looked up one or two of those threads. lol! I think I've got it where even if we don't get in until 5-15 minutes after our ADR time, we should still be able to see him. Crossing my fingers.

The dining reservation site is screwing me up tonight. Not sure if it is my horrible computer, or the site itself. i cancelled Le Cellier and changed the day for CRT, but after that, nothing will work. I have a reservation for Wolfgang Puck Cafe, I just got the email, but it's not showing up on my reservations list. I'll try it tomorrow. :)

Have you considered a haircut for your DS at Harmony Barbershop, 12noon is the best appointment (hint, hint:goodvibes)

At the 1900 Park Fare Breakfast my fav is The Madhatter, he can even cross his eyes:lmao: The Strawberry Soup is a must to try:cool1:

I leave in 23 days!!

Anyway, anyone have anything they'd like me to find an answer to?

Going to have to think about this one:scratchin

I could put together a mini challenge (5 things, characters & places in the parks that are mostly overlooked):confused3. If nothing elseyou would have some great pics that others would be like where or who was that:goodvibes

Saw the name of the thread and had no idea what it was about. Made me scratch my head to tell you the truth. So what do I do to fit in best around here? Going again in November with the family and my kids believe they are never to old. My wife decided she is going to sit at the Resort but more fun for the rest of us (she is a bit of a party pooper).

Well hello all.

Well hello all.

:welcome: You are member #149:cool1: Too bad your wife will be missing all the fun staying at the Resort, Are you planning on doing Mickeys Very Merry Chrismas Party:confused3

Within the next two months there are a few things to look forward to:cool1:

- Star Wars Star Tours
- Cars meet & greet referb, (Cars 2)
- Magician Mickey meet & greet
- Angelica meet & greet (daughter of Captian Blackbeard from upcoming POTC movie)
- Phineas & Ferb meet & greet
- Expanded Lego store in DTD

I really wish I could check out the Star Wars weekends; maybe next time. My kids aren't big Star Wars fans anyway:confused3

So I'm at a loss as to what to plan now :lmao: I've got the basic itinerary, and my dining set. 2 passports are done and I've sent out the application for the 3rd one. Too early to start packing:laughing:

I'm in the same boat, once all the ADR's are made it is kind of down time:confused3, I like to tweek my plans by searching for new or different things to do at WDW, it could be a show or a meet & greet etc:woohoo:

About a month before the trip I start putting my days together from all the info I gathered, As I put it together, I have a few different plans for each day, then I try to figure what will work best, the end result is usally a combo of the rough plans:cool1:

Not sure what to do here! Help fellow commandos! We leave in 2 weeks and I keep tweaking (should just leave well enough alone :rolleyes1). I just snagged a lunch ADR to Le Cellier. I debated and debated and cancelled one early in planning and was never able to get it back. Now I don't know where to fit it in :confused3 or if I should just cancel and forget it. It may be one of those over-hyped ones and I'd love some input. Please no comments on we have too many ADRs or it's too much food etc, we are two adults traveling and happy with our three meals a day. I've done it before so I know what I'm getting myself into...tons of yummy food. Staying at Pop, on DxDPP, and driving everywhere unless hopping between Epcot and MK.

Our plans are this.

4/28: arrival day. Dinner at 'Ohana @ 4:30. Then MK. Dessert Party @ 9

4/29: Epcot. Akurshus @ 9:30, Chefs @ 2:30, Teppan Edo at 7:30.

4/30: IOA. Kona at 7:30, Then IOA. Yachtsman at 8:30 PM

5/1: MK/Epcot. Crystal Palace @ 8:10, Via Napoli @ 2, The Plaza @ 7

5/2: DHS. 1900 Park Fare at 8:30, Mama Melrose or Sci Fi @ 2, Captains Grille @ 8:30

5/3: AK Tusker House @ 8:30, Yak and Yeti @ 1, Wolfgang Puck Cafe @ 7

5/4: leaving day. Ohana's @ 9:30. Then to MK until 3 or 4. Tonys @ 1:30

My Le Cellier ressie is for 2:30 on 4/29. If I include Le Cellier, my plan is to move Chefs to 5/1 and then get rid of Via Napoli. I also thought of bumping Via Napoli to 5/4 and getting rid of Tonys. However, I really want to spend the last of our time in MK. Grab a dole whip, see the 3:00 parade and leave. If I do a lunch in Epcot our last day, then either we'd have to eat earlier when not hungry or at the end of the day and then no dole whip and 3:00 parade. :confused3

Any advice? Which is better Via Napoli or Le Cellier. I know, I know two totally different types of food. I'd be getting the mushroom filet and cheddar soup at Le Cellier. Pizza probably at Via Napoli. We've also never done either so really wouldn't know what we're missing I suppose.

I would keep both Le Cellier and Via Napoli and bump Chefs. Otherwise this looks great! Have a fabulous time!

Thanks for the responses. I can't do them both, no room. And if I bump anything it will be Via Napoli or Le Cellier and definitely not chefs. Has anyone had any experiences with them? I really want to know which is better between Via Napoli and Le Cellier.

Me personally give Le Cellier a high rating, we love it there and is part of our every time list:cool1:

I can't give you a pro or con on Via Napoli since we never ate there:confused3

I hope it's ok to jump in and ask a quick question about LeCellier... did it go up to 2 dining credits like they were talking about awhile ago???

I have a question...how does one become a member of this "Commando Club??" I've had my eye on it for a while now, as I am DEFINITELY Commando! :thumbsup2

And if no one minds me answering, yes, Le Cellier did go up to 2 TS credits, but only for dinner. Lunch remains 1 TS. :)
