WDW Commando Club

I haven't added the extra day onto my ticker, but...I get to make ADR's tomorrow!! :cool1:

Aiming for:

Crystal Palace
Sci Fi Dine In
Tusker House
Mama Melrose
Akershus
Chefs de France
Le Cellier
Supercali...at the GF
Happily Ever After at the GF
O'Hana

I need one more; Abba's asking to eat at Tony's in MK, I kind of want Kona or Boma...any thoughts?

The kid's might also like Whispering Canyon Cafe:confused3

Ooh, there's an idea; I bet they'd get a kick out of that one. And I'd love to take a peek at Wilderness Lodge.

Good luck booking, I'm sure you will get what you want:goodvibes Online booking is 6am EST

Wrong again! Me, I mean. Technically, my vacation does start 180 from today, but my first day will be spent driving to the airport. lol! We're so far away that it takes 8 hours just to drive to the city. So tomorrow I'll be on here before work. :goodvibes

I'm thoroughly enjoying all this!!! ...but alas I'm a lurker :lmao: and a dedicated Disney Desperado.

I guess that would be a dry run, I know you'll be ready tomorrow:thumbsup2

party::bday:party: Happy Birthday Ron!

Thanks Randall

:welcome: Lurk no more you are member #147:cool1: With all those trips to WDW we would love to hear your input:woohoo:

:goodvibes Then I shall continue to lurk. I believe people with young families who only get to go to Disney once or infrequently need to be a bit commando. We are happily in a place now where we are DVC and kids are grown and we can just stroll around the World......but (and please don't tell the Desperadoes) ---I still have my WDW list of things to pack.

Woo hoo! That was too easy! I ended up with everything we wanted, except Ohana, because it's 11 days after, so I'll book it tomorrow. I cancelled Tony's and booked a breakfast at the castle. I know we're doing Akershus too, but we really want to eat at the castle. So I'll pay OOP for one of the cheaper meals.

Also booked the Fantasmic! package. Just need to figure out how to get the Wishes dessert buffet, and we're set!

That's Great:cool1: Early bird catches the worm:banana:

For Wishes Dessert you have to call to book, have a CC handy

Now you get to plan your day's around your ADR's:woohoo:

I have now eaten one of every meal at the castle and I love eating there. For me, it is the most awesome meal.

Love doing this. New to this thread but commando in spirit. 1st trip 4 years ago and 2nd trip last week. Hope to go every other year from now on as new DVC members. 4 kids and even though I've been pretty commando so far planning on getting better (worse?) as the kids get older and can handle longer/earlier days. Also count me among those who feel flexibility in a commando is huge. I feel like I have to know EVERYTHING available in each park and the best way to do everything so that I can have any given day planned but then adapt to what the group wants to do as circumstances allow. We tend to start the day with a hard plan for the morning but then go with the flow as things move along. Next trip will hopefully be for Dec 2012 and I'm already saving notes in my phone for things to do next time.

Just got back from a gift auction, I won one of the Grand Prizes:cool1:

4 - 1 day Hopper passes to WDW:banana:

:welcome: You are member #148:yay: Your next trip in Dec 2012 will be filled with NEW adventures, most of the things they are working on now will be done by then:banana:

I leave in 23 days!!

Anyway, anyone have anything they'd like me to find an answer to?

Anyone with kiddos that would like a post card? I saw this on another thread and thought it was a cute idea. I think my sister who has better handwriting can probably copy Mickey's name easily. If you want me to send one, just sent me your address via PM.

Changed it up again. lol! I'm trying to make it a bit more logical. Managed to cut out a tiny bit of travel time on the 28th. Good thing I've got 6 more months to tweak it!

Sept. 27th - arrive around 1 or 2, swim, then head to DTD to shop. Supper at WPE. Early to bed because we have a 'butt-crack of dawn' early flight that morning.

Sept. 28th - DHS - early lunch at Starring Rolls
-dinner at Toy Story Pizza Planet

29th - EMH at MK - eat quick at the hotel before we go, no time to waste!
- grab lunch at Casey's, again no time to waste.
Back to the hotel to rest/swim. We'll see if this works, and if DS will actually sleep. Today will decide how rest time will go the rest of the week.
-back to MK for the Wishes dessert party.

30th - Eat then head to MK for the morning.
- lunch at Crystal Palace
- head to hotel for rest/swim
-quick bite to eat somewhere, then stay for Halloween party if it's on this night. Last as long as possible. lol!

1st - DHS EMH
- lunch at Sci-Fi Dine-In
- rest/swim after the parade
-head to MK for dinner at Columbia House (or another CS place) and catch the electrical parade.

2nd - AK -early day starting with breakfast at Tusker House
-lunch at the Yak and Yeti counter service place
-we'll stay until closing, as it's early.
-head to DHS for dinner at Mama Melrose and catch Fantasmic!

3rd - Epcot - breakfast at Akershus
- lunch at Chefs de France (DS loves Ratatouille, so I will try my best to catch Remy)
- rest/swim
- maybe head to MK for EMH

4th - Epcot - morning snacks from Boulangerie Patisserie
- cancelled Le Cellier, we'll do CS and snacks. I'll try it when I go without the kids one day. :rolleyes1
- rest of the day will be rides, sight seeing, and snacking around the world....

5th - Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare...love me some Mary Poppins!
-Animal Kingdom day.
-evening shopping at DTD.

6th - EMH at MK! Right now I have breakie at the castle, but because of EMH, I might try to switch it to Tuesday so we can get into the park early.
- early rest time
- early supper at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella! then either the halloween party again, or early to bed. we'll see how it plays out.

7th - breakfast at Ohana. We'll decide during the week what our 2 favorite parks were, then do both of them this day and eat CS and snacks all day, lasting as long as we possibly can! I'm thinking we'll most likely end up at MK for the later part of the day; if there's a party and we're not too tired I might splurge again;) Just cuz I can.

8th - breakfast at the hotel, swim if it's nice enough, then head back and get picked up to fly home :sad1:

Dobby, I know I saw a tread somewhere on the DisBoards that had the times Remy made his apperance:confused3 I know it was before my last trip, so pre Dec. Since you have alot of time yet, you can change your time if it doesn't match:goodvibes
