I literally sat at home for 3 days waiting for the package. It was out for delivery on the first day and I said to myself...okay, I can spend one day off at home cleaning and packing, no problem...waited till 8 pm and no package...some weird explanation about not being able to pick it up? Um guys I am getting a package not sending one....second day, same thing...Last night I called UPS and the girl was a total witch. They were supposed to call me back and never did, so I finally called again and this girl gave me the distro number and that girl told me she would text the driver but that they had tried to deliver it twice and if I didn't sign this time they would send it back....she even claimed he left a note on my mailbox...ummm lady that is attached to my house...nice try. The funny thing is when I contacted the shipper they were livid because they didn't know UPS outsourced this area and they never make someone give a signature. To finish my story, I complained and got them their shipping costs back so they are sending me a free travel straightening iron...Best company ever. The guy just showed up a minute ago and acted like nothing had happened....I am usually the girl who gives my UPS and mail carriers cookies and presents at Christmas because I know how hard they work, but this guy isn't getting crap.:lmao:

Now I can breath and enjoy fantasmic as it plays on my radio...10 days just keep thinking 10 days...

my binder is finished, I am 3/4 packed (need to take out extra stuff and do laundry for the last bit), my appointments for the next week are all in order...yep, getting that disney commando giddy feeling where things start falling into place.:dance3:

Sorry for the choppiness on this email (on my phone at work, lol).

Fireworks at 9 we are doing the dessert party later in the week.
Party is me, my son 11, daughter 6
Calling it a night no earlier than 9 - EP open til midnight
On site at CBR
EMH at EP
10 day PH
3.5-4 on commando style

Based on your info, you got some nice power opps here to get alot done:thumbsup2

When going to the rope drop in the middle of Main St. look for the Mayor, Fire Chief, and the Womans Club (from Mary Poppins) all nice photo opps, or you can ride a vehicle up to the castle, Dapper Dan's might be on board:confused3
When the rope drops I would get a FP for SM, then go to breakfast, after breakfast you should be able to get another FP, I would go for Buzz. Then do all the rides in that area.

Since you are not going to the parade's you might as well use it in your favor, go to AL or FL next pick up a FP for BCR or POC, do some rides while your waiting for FP to kick in I would do Tiki room , Country Bear, Hall of Pres, anything that you don't really have to wait on line for:cool1: When the afternoon parade happens, it's time to step it up, hit the line rides (most will be at the Parade, something that was a 40min wait might be 5 or 10)

I know you said you were planning on doing something at Epcot, if you leave after the parade (if it is at 3) you will have around 2hrs to kill before dinner:yay:

After dinner I would get a FP for Peter Pan ( this line is always crazy long) and hit some rides in the FL area that are not long, when the night parade starts, you should be able to walk on SW, Pooh, Snow & Huanted House, before the Fireworks start get out of the park, beat the crowd and be back to room close to the time you wanted to turn in, with MK for the most part completed, without killing yourselves :thumbsup2:goodvibes

What you do after a rope drop, and the ride down time during parades & fireworks can make a world of difference and save tons of time:woohoo:

Thanks! Awesome to know that I'm not completely crazy! We had wonderful luck during fireworks last year - PP twice in a row. I told my kids that we have to watch one parade at MK and AK during our visit.

I would hit the parade at the MK the night you are going for the dessert party.

Here's something to ponder for the parade at AK, where the parade starts it also ends, do alittle research on what's close by:confused3:goodvibes:woohoo:

I hope you gave him a good taunting, and warned him that he does not want to be taunted a 2nd time:lmao:

The UPS guy here knocks, rings and drops. I had something once that needed sig and proof of age (booze). It was sitting on my doorstep, I thaught it was the law to make sure of proof of age anyway:confused3

Nice work on the flight change. Love the late flight out ant the early one in.

On the way down we departed at 6am - entered HS at 10:30am.

On the way back had a 7:55pm home - got off Space at 3:30 to get back to POR and catch the 4:30 ME.

Good flight planning gives us commando's lots of extra park time

I must say, I like your sig:thumbsup2

Hahaha...the funny thing is a week ago DH and I were at a work conference and they delivered a bottle of narcotics to the door and left them there....had my BFF not been checking our mail everyday this could have been VERY bad. (DH was given them for his war wounds...his doctor seems to think they will help.) I don't understand why they needed a signature for hair products and not pain medication but hey I guess leave in conditioner and a curling iron can be REALLY DANGEROUS!

I had the front windows open on the car ride home today, I like to crank the radio up pretty loud and rock out alittle (windows are usally closed with the AC on) I was at a light when I relized I had my sons CD in Wayne Brady was singing Tiki Room, The guy in the next lane was giving me a stange look:lmao:

hahaha...I get this too...Singing the little mermaid or cackling along with fantasmic is apparently not a common thing here in los angeles....:confused3

I'm going to say they are jealous, because they don't know all the words:confused3:lmao::goodvibes

Stitchy, besides drinking around the world, what other activites and plans do you have going:confused3

We get in at 11:30 on the 15th. Planning on going to MK and CRT for dinner...hoping to watch wishes and if we can see any of it spectromagic.

At some point I need to go to shades of green and get the military tickets as it is my way of keeping my no expiration date tickets intact so we can come back. I just found the tickets were still on sale last night and got DH VERY excited about it. This trip is DBFF present for her birthday and Christmas. We are doing the DXDDP.

16th. AK...I was a vet major and fall madly in love with this place very quickly. I am SO excited for Jiko for dinner. I am having presents delivered from disneyflorist for both of my commandos as a surprise.

17th. Epcot...this is our drinking day I am guessing. Chefs de france will be a nice way to enjoy our drink sitting down. We LOVE Epcot and this is DBFFs first trip so we are excited to share it with her. This is also our anniversary and we are planning on going out to the boardwalk for a nice night out after eating at flying fish.

18th. HS... Nothing much special planned this day. Just have fun I guess. Maybe if we commando properly this will be the day we get to see other resorts and the like. We are going to Cali Grill for dinner and I am having a cake made for DH there are a surprise for our anniversary. I hope it turns out great, I will cry if I spent that much on a bad cake.

19th. Epcot... We are spending the morning at Epcot but have Brown Derby reservations for dinner so will probably do some more HS.

20th. AK...Again nothing special planned during the day, but going to boatwrights at our hotel for dinner and I am surprising DH with a carriage ride at the end and I am having them deliver champagne for us to drink during the ride. It is the one time we will get to be just the two of us during the trip. (I feel bad leaving DBFF alone...long story)

21st...Kona Kafe for breakfast and Raglan Road for lunch then off to the airport. So it is going to be a sight seeing day.

Thats about it. I was hoping to meet up with other DISers while we are there but who knows. We will have our lime green mickey heads so maybe people will take note...:rotfl2: This was a quick note of our plans. We are doing the most time in Epcot and AK because they have the least rides that we have back here at DL. If I miss some of the ones I can ride here I won't mind as much. With touring plans an commando style we may not have a problem doing most everything though so who knows.

Stitchy, We will also be at POR from Aug 15- 21st! (and we are also celebrating our anniversary too!) We love POR!!!

I love driving along with Disney tunes cranked up! :cool1: Absolutely exhausted. This has been a long week. I wanted to get some planning done, but it doesn't appear that it will happen tonight.

I did get two things taken care of today - Via Napoli ADR and a spur of the moment BBB appointment. That's right, my tomboy girl looked up at me tonight with her big blue eyes and said that she wants to dress like a princess. I melted! Amiee <== push over! So I called expecting to hear rejection, but I did have several days in mind. Turns out I didn't need them! My first choice was available 9/3 at 8:10 am and then a date with Cindy at 9:20. :cool1: Oh yeah! Momma is going to get some castle pics without a crowd afterall. Now to order a solar charger. :rolleyes1

That's awesome you got some great kids , very accommodating:thumbsup2 Can you talk to my 5year old son he's very demanding :confused3:lmao:

stitchy - at CRT when checking in ask if the real tall waiter I think his name is John (they should know who you are talking about) is working and if you can sit at one of his tables. He has been there forever and is a awesome waiter, I never ran into a problem under his service, He has got to be the tallest person working at the MK, like 6'6 or better, I'm 6' and he towers me:lmao: he will take good care of you:goodvibes. Anyone who has been to CRT for dinner probably knows who I'm talking about:thumbsup2

Tonite I PM'd a DisBoard friend, She is the holder of what IMO is the WDW Bible, I 'm not promising anything, I invited her to our thread, or she might say it's ok for me to give you the info, or we might not hear anything at all, any way is fine I respect her hard work and privacy so I won't do anything without her blessing:thumbsup2 As far as I know out of our 88 members, besides myself only 2 others know of what I am refering to (I could be wrong) This could change alot of your plans in a more fullfilling positive way:goodvibes
