WDW Commando Club

Ok, dumb basic question here....I'll get an answer faster from Commando's then looking it up online, so with 7 day ph- is that only at the four parks or can you use a full day at a water parks (or is that only a plus tix?)

MWY tickets with or without park hopeer can only be used in the 4 parks.

WP&M can be used at Water Parks, Disney Quest, or Golfing... You get 1 "gate admission" to the WP&M per #of days on the MWY ticket.

Well it looks like Eduardo will be leaving Brazil soon for his WDW trip, he is not the typical stereotyped Brazilian from a tour group, He is a Brazilian WDW Commando the only one known & recognized by this club:thumbsup2, I know that you are ready for your mission, you have done for homework, made your lists and checked them twice:thumbsup2

The only 3 thing I want you to remember is

- Be flexible (don't plan everything down to the minute, you never know what you will encounter)
- Go with your gut feeling
- Most Important Have Fun:banana:

Have A Great Trip & GodSpeed

Hi guys! Thanks for all the tips! :thumbsup2
I hope to have absorbed most of them or at least copied them for easy access! :rotfl2:

I'm leaving tomorrow for Orlando! :dance3: I started a TR today after passing most of last year on my PTR! :lmao:

And Ron, I'll try, but I don't think I'll be able to score as many transportation cards as you always do! :rotfl:

:wave2:

LOL! You posted this while I was writing my post above! :rotfl:

I'll have fun!:cool1:
Thanks again for the tips, specially these last ones! :thumbsup2

So far out of the things I've seen listed for Limited Time Only (and there's not a lot out there about what's going on) Fri Sept 13th looks like a Great day to be at HS with Unleash The Villains Fri, that will last till 1am the 13th hour, I'd love to be there for that just for the M&G's alone villains are usually a hard meet & great to find:rolleyes1

So as of now it looks like I'd get the regular discount (since Disney has no offers as of now) a $100 GC, Storytime & Preferred Fireworks Viewing for wishes, no matter how you look at it your not going to get a much better deal then that:thumbsup2

The friends that I'm doing the ADR's & trip plan are booked through AAA, -how (and how does it work) do they get Storytime & preferred fireworks viewing? vouchers/ressies etc?

They are also staying Club level AKL- is the sunrise safari only to be booked through concierges at AKL by email or ADR's?

By the time they get the info in their packet it will be booked up, but I know how to do it,:thumbsup2, It can be booked 180days in advance (earlier the better), The Disney # to call for AAA is 407-939-7946 (pretty sure that's the number), you need the reservation # from the AAA invoice for the trip, they will also help book any ADR's or any other reservations around Disney:thumbsup2

Then when they get the packet a few weeks before the trip it will have vouchers that they will need to bring with them.

Very important that the call is made ASAP since it has limited days and times, and gets filled up quick:scared1:

Yes the sunrise Safari needs to be booked through the club level concierge.

I want to do AKV Safari. One of these years, we'll do that, we stayed there a few years ago and really enjoyed the resort.

I booked our August trip through AAA today, BUT a few things have changed, to get the $100 GC the trip would have to be more then $3000 (fell way short of that:rotfl2:), and I'm not going to get Storytime or the Fireworks perferred viewing since you have to have a complete package (room, tickets, meal plan):confused3

But what I did get was 10 nights/ 11 days at All Star Movies with 8 day hopper passes for 3 for under $2100pirate:

Meal plan would be a waste since I'm going other places for 3 of the days there, plus Shula's on one of our Disney days:rolleyes2

That's a great deal that you got Ron. Too bad that you didn't the Storytime, or the Fireworks perferred viewing, but it still sounds like a really good deal. As for my sad story, I'm starting physio for my crash injuries, as they have not healed and are getting worse. DS 9 is probably going to be getting the same treatment, once we get him checked out by out doc next week. My van was written off (not a surprise, as we were expecting it, due to it's age). The insurance co is hinting at a cash settlement for my injuries, but I won't even discuss it with them until I'm fully healed from the crash. So we'll see how that goes. If I get a small settlement, it may mean that the 2015 trip is on, but won't know till later in the year, what's going on with it. Have a great trip Ron!!!

That is a good get. We are doing Shula's this trip as well. My youngest dd loves steak and I'm going for the lobster, but will have to taste her filet as well.

Are you going for the 4lb Maine lobster or the Australian lobster tail:confused3

Yet another thing coming to MK that may have something to collect, in the Spring they are starting a Pirate interactive game called Treasures of the Seven Seas, guess we will see in a couple months what it is all about, since it has to do with Pirates my son will like it:thumbsup2pirate:

I'm going for steak, but I have a question about the super large steak. . . is it impossible for like, really hungry men? I mean they don't have to be professional eaters to take it right? Also, what's the "prize" for successfully eating it all?:confused3

Thanks Ron for the AAA phone number! I got Storytime booked for them, but there weren't any spaces left for fireworks. I really think it sucks that you have to book the full dining plan with AAA for Storytime.... so unless there's free dining for my Dec trip I won't be booking it thru them.
But then again this trip because we're taking Mudducks 1 1/2, (the adopted kids & their 4 children) we're probably staying off-site condo for 2 weeks, so we'll just have to see what deals come down the pipe:surfweb:

The 4lb Porterhouse steak at $90, I love my steak, but I don't know if I could finish it (might have to fast a couple days:confused3),but even with a bone, your probably looking at 2.5 to 3.25 lbs of meat (depending on how big the bone is), There is sort of a prize if you finish it, you get put on the internet on Shula's hall of fame page:thumbsup2.

I did finish the 32oz Prime rib, I was really surprised it had no bone, and the trim fat might have been a once or two, I finished before my wife was done with her crab cakes that were also huge, we both rolled out of there, you definitely will not go hungary there, but be warned when ordering everything is Steakhouse portions, so they are huge, the baked potato is a mini football:scared1:

Although I didn't get Storytime etc, I still paid $125 less then if I booked through Disney, so it wasn't a huge loss:thumbsup2

Ok, thanks. I think I am going to go with the New York strip. I was just wondering for hunny as he is a foodie and that steak might catch his eye, lol. We are definitely sharing the sides.
