I called to confirm my ressie for the WL yesterday and the CM told me that the crowds didnt seem too bad....ya reckon she is a reliable source? She isnt actually in the WDW parks!!

Maybe now but a lot of us MA folks are coming down soon for our spring break! :) (we'll be there on the 16th)

Right now I wouldn't think the crowds would be to bad. I would say that she is a reliable source - but remember that everyone has a different view of what "crowded" is.

I can tell you right now that my view of crowded is probably way different than most people on here. Being a seasonal CM, the crowds don't bother me much..

MK Sunday is open until 11pm with TWO spectro parades....... I'd say crowds are coming!

Luckily Spring Breaks around the country come at different times. I've never encountered heavy crowds at any time in April or May. Perhaps I've just been lucky so far :) I'll find out soon enough as we leave in three days and will be doing our first day in the parks on the 18th.

I just tried to adjust our reservation...The 17th-20th there are NO rooms available at the value resorts they tried to get me to stay at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista!!! It's going to be busy!

Friday we went to the Magic Kingdom. The lines weren't too bad. We actually found a spot on Main St 5 minutes after Spectromagic started! Sunday we went to Epcot. The crowds were not too bad. We just did the Living Seas, Journey into Imagination, and ate dinner. Nothing in the Living Seas but Turtle Talk had a line.

Yesterday, I was at SSR and it was EMPTY! Kind of creepy! The CM's in the food area were bored off their bums! They were begging to help us!

They told us WDW is at 41% occupancy.

This morning, I took a little walk around the Poly, and even that was EMPTY! The quiet did not have one single person in it or around it! The volcano pool had some people, but plenty of chairs available! All the shops and restaurants were empty as well. This was between 11 & 12 noon today.

I am planning on going to the MK tonight. Hoping to find short lines!

We just came back and it was great.Sunday in Epcot, very light crowds.Tuesday in MK,everything was a walk on (even Space and Splash)! A lot of the NE is on spring break starting this weekend however,so expect heavier crowds. :sunny:

I'd say given the large amount of Northeasteners on school break next week & the extended hours at the Parks we can expect some heavy crowds next week. MK open til midnight, while good in one way, could strongly indicate increased expected attendance. Even the airlines know it - we had to pay nearly triple for our airfare for next week, even tho we purchased a good 6 monthes in advance.

Oh, well - Bring it on, I say - Any time is WDW is well spent, crowds or no.....

Sounds like this week would have been an excellent time to be at WDW (well, anytime is great, but you know what I mean).

Got to remember this if we go next year. Bet the weather is nice. Spring Break next week here in little CT, many people heading to WDW.

I'm here now and the only ride that has had a long line is Test Track - 55mins. Just grab a Fast Pass for that one. Everything else has been 15 minutes or less. Just the way we like it. Although, we haven't been to Fantasyland, I would guess that those rides are about 30 - 45mins.

And to top it ofdf, it hasn't rained once since we have been here (knock on wood).

well, guess I will see when i get there..................

in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crowds or no crowds............IM GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1:

Last weekend was not bad at all, crowdwise. I imagine that was just timing between Easter/Spring break and Mother's Day.
Flower & Garden starts this weekend, along with the Soarin' preview for AP and DVC.

Just got back from a 4/5-4/12 trip. Minimal crowds (from my subjective POV). Less or about the same as mid-March last year. Less than last June. Many times when we stood in the middle of a park and looked around us and said, "Man, are we in the Twilight Zone? Where is everybody else?" It was nice!

But, don't hold out much hope for it to last long. I think we eeked in on the slowest week btw all of March-May this year. Just today, I talked to four different people who are taking their families to Disney for Spring Break (here in New England) this coming week. And that's just in the small social circle of people I talked to today. Can't imagine if that's a representative sample!

it was EMPTY! The weather was gorgeous, even a little chill in the air after the sun went down! Very nice!

We rode Pirates (walked on!),HM (walked on!), Small World (walked on!), Philharmagic (waited maybe 5 minutes!), Snow White (walked on!) it was great!

We visit the parks often, and have avoided riding these rides recently due to long lines. It was so nice to be able to see them with no wait! I hope everyone down here now enjoys their visit!

So New England spring break is NEXT week? What about projected crowds the following week??? Any ideas??? Any special events or anything that would really blwo us out of the water? MK is open most of the week April 23-30th until 11 or so but that is true for most of the month. Any thoughts???

Just got back this past Monday and I thought that the crowd levels were great! :wizard: I was expecting it to be more crowded, but we never had to wait too long for anything. On Sunday in mid-afternoon, the wait times for TOT was 10 minutes and RnRC was about 15 minutes.

MK is always crowded, but it was very manageable! :teeth:
