WDW Christmas Decorations

This might sound like a silly question but when do they actually decorate WDW for the holidays? I see the dates for the MVMCP begin at the end of November.

They go up after Thanksgiving. There are Christmas deorations everywhere and on every thing. They are spectacular.

They have trees and everything, but they also have things like teh Osborn Family Lights in MGM and Candlelight Processional in Epcot, and each country has a themed Christmas storyteller, and the holiday is themed for each country. It's a great time of year to go.

They actually start decorating the resorts and theme parks pretty much right after Halloween. It used to be that the MK was the very last to be decorated and by the day after Thanksgiving all was decorated. However, this year many of the Christmas festivities start in mid-November (MVMCP & Osborne Lights) so I would imagine that the place will be completely decked out by then.

We were there for Halloween in 2004 and on our last day (Nov 4) we woke up to them decorating our resort.

They were usually done with everything by Thanksgiving in the past but now that they are having the MVMCP parties before thanksgiving they will probably have all the decorations done before thanksgiving.
