I have a WDW CCC ? Just wondering which company everyone uses and why? We are planning on picking up a vehicle at the CCC late afternoon the day of are arrival at SSR. Not a big deal but Alamo and National are the exact same price but Enterprise is $25 less. I like picking the car at National and am wondering if the $25 is worth it.

Hoping to get some feedback as far as experiences with all three and what kind of vehicles are usually available. (probably a compact)

I'm not sure what car rental companies operate out of the Car Care Center, and I don't usually rent at car when going to WDW - however in late January I was in another FL location and rented a car at Ft. Myers airport thru Enterprise and had no problem returning it there.

I was debating whether to rent a car or not. I like having the freedom to come and go as we please with our own vehicle, whether going for groceries, a krispy kreme run etc. Still undecided and we are roughly 5 weeks away.

Ok - well I use Enterprise exclusively as I book with a corporate account.
I'll tell you what - that CCC was a tightly run ship, I was in and out of there & in the shuttle to return me in less than 90 seconds, I kid you not.
Personally I'm a stay in the bubble/uber user while at WDW usually and don't venture out, but I'm also only there for 3, maybe 4 nights at a time.

Have fun on your trip!

When did you use CCC?

I used it on Sunday January 31. We were on the West Coast of FL for work and decided to tack on a few nights at WDW.

We have a rental for MCO and a rental (day later) with CCC. We signed up for ME and we are going to see how awful Budget line is and if it’s bad just cancel and take ME and get car the next day at CCC. Not sure what is better route

I usually go with Alamo (through Costco), but that's primarily to take advantage of their Insider program so I can skip the counter and go directly to the garage at the airport. When picking up at one of the WDW locations (I've used the ones at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel by Disney Springs, at the Dolphin, and at the CCC depending on where we are staying), I usually go with the best price. At the CCC counter, you'll get the same service and treatment no matter which company you are using.

Enterprise, Alamo, and National are all part of the same corporate family and I have found that they have pretty much the same vehicles across the corporation. For a long time, it appeared the primary distinction was their marketing focus and advertising: National for business travelers and their Emerald Aisle/Emerald Club program; Alamo for vacationers/leisure travelers and the Insider program; and Enterprise for local rentals where they will pick you up and drop you off (particularly useful when a car is being serviced and they had relationships with a number of car dealership service departments and our auto insurance carrier). Now, I don't see the distinction so much.

As an FYI all 3 agencies are owned by the same company called Enterprise Holdings.

I rented from the CCC in 2017 and I think at the time it was only Alamo so things may have changed since. With the way it was set up then it was not like an airport location where you have to present your agreement at a guard shack and they process what car you took. If it is still this way I have a feeling you may not be able to pick your own car with National unless they have you pick one out and then you go back inside and do the paperwork.

I just looked at googlemaps and it looks the same way but maybe someone knows if that has changed since I last rented and googlemaps updated.

The last two trips to MCO we used Budget and will never do that again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after giving us a pick up truck instead of a minivan. ( told literally take it or leave it and BTW showers in the area..that was fun) and second time the line was horrible(1.5 hours) even after paying in advance and entering all our info. for "express" pick up. Absolutely the worst experience ever with a company from those at the airport to all CS reps and supervisors I dealt with on the phone. The prices were so much cheaper than the other companies at the time, but I would pay double if I needed to avoid Budget!!

I'm sorry you had such a rotten experience, but thank you for sharing. I was just comparing Budget to Alamo, and Budget is about $25 cheaper for a week. Sounds like I should stick with Alamo.

we have rented from Alamo from Dolphin and CCC, as well as the airport. At CCC and Dolphin, your car is pre-selected but we have never had an issue and sometimes we were bumped up to a better vehicle.

both Dolphin and CCC have fast service at the desk, but remember to book your shuttle with the office to get you there -- I think it's a few hours before pick up.

I ended up going with Enterprise. $234 for 6 nights (compact) seemed like a good price from what other people posted they have been getting lately. Figuring in what it will cost us to park at SSR we will be in it for under $400 for the week.

Looks like rates have more than doubled at the CCC for last week in April. Wow!

WDW CCC doesn’t have car picking abilities for National. They hand you keys and that’s your car so you’re not missing out on anything!
