WDW Cast Pin Events

I came across a list of the upcoming Cast Pin Events today. Mark your calanders.

Thursday, June 24 - Disney's All-Star Resort
Thursday, July 15 - Magic Kingdom at Property Control
Thursday, August 19 - Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex
Thursday, September 23 - Epcot, Odyssey Building

Other than the one this week I don't know what character will be where. If they stick to the usuals MK will be Cinderella, WWS will be Tigger, and EPCOT will be Figment.

Can someone give me a little more info on the Cast pin events?
I am a TDS Cast member and will be at WDW for the September one.

Will I be allowed to go or is it just for WDW CM's.

Please help! I am new to the pin trading and do not want to miss anything?

Cast Pin Events are little events for CMs only. At the event they release one of a series of pins (this year they are Maingates with character inserts.), have discounted pins and other related merchandise for us to buy, and games for us to play.

I believe you are allowed to go, but you cannot buy the maingate pin that comes out that day. If I remember I will ask on Thursday.

I have a quick question for you, I'll be doing the CP and was wondering, as a cast member can we buy the pins released in the Cast Lanyard Series?

If you mean the ones on the CM lanyards that we trade w/ the guests...the answer is no...they are called that because that is the only way the guests can get them..they are NOT for sale anywhere..

The CM lanyards from Company D are another thing, you never know if they are going to include those or not..
